wow scotia, didn't realise he was only 8months go baby scotia!!!

bumble, at 11 months can actually "run" on his knees (he is practically airborne, lol)so I doubt he will be walking anytime soon!

Scotia · 11/10/2009 08:59

at Bumble running on his knees. K crawls on one knee and one foot, but has been walking more than crawling yesterday. So much for the doubters that say real nappies hold them back, eh?

Ager, I couldn't believe it either, all mine have been early walkers and he is just so desperate to follow his brother, tere's no holding him down. My dad calls him Zebedee because the minute his bum touches the floor he bounces straight back up to do something else.

Tree, hope you have a lovely day for the Christening, and we want to see photos of her in that gorgeous gown.

I'm of all of you who can claim cash back for using real nappies. It's a bit of an incentive, but doesn't go far when you think of the price for some of the lovely nappies you can buy really

Have a lovely day everyone - I'm going out for lunch. My girls are treating me for my birthday (am ancient today ) and there's no boys over the age of 5 allowed, lol.

Happy birthday Scotia.

My link was deleted but tree, if you are interested in the fleece soakers, they are on my website under bebesnuggles fleece.

Not feeling too great today. Thought I was going to pass out at work last night. Was meant to be there tll 1am but left at midnight as I just couldn't do it anymore.

Talia is driving me up the wall teething and being clingy.

Hello - snowed under but throught would dig oneself out to say hello! Have been speed reading the thread!

Ager - I run the Lollipop stand at the big baby shows - 75% of people who come onto our stand want to use cloth nappies and they come to us because we know what we are talking about, we don't slag of anyone else, we sell most of the other brands, we have the best expertise and sales at the show, we have all used cloth nappies on our own children and we are passionate about what we do. So yes, I do expect people to buy off me when I have demo'd as they have utlised my expertise to make the best decision for themselves. I expect the same wherever I am lol! In terms of USPs, knowledge, skills and communication at baby shows, I would say Lollipop outstrip everyone else by miles. The 25% who come on to the stand - I would say most of them buy - it is a cloth nappy stand - if people genuinely have no interest at all they don't step onto the stand - we don't leaflet or need to invite people onto the stand for a chat as we are simply way too busy. I can demo to 4 couples at a time when really busy and have 3 couples waiting. It is manic and our absolute mission is to make sure every person who walks off the stand having bought has bought the set or combo that suits them perfectly - because they have now made an informed decision.

Phew lol! Starts friday lol!

Octothechildherder · 11/10/2009 19:54

Happy birthday scotia

Octothechildherder · 11/10/2009 19:54

dh kind of dismayed there are two nights of x factor lol

x factor and wine - see you tomorrow!

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 11/10/2009 20:21

Octo - I might need to take you up on your offer of putting the babyshow tickets on the door for me. Didn't actually know that was possible! But they still haven't arrived . Nor has my LP forum details .

4 - If you are around on Msn at some point I would really love some details on your camping hol in france if you don't mind? We are trying to decide what to do for our holiday next year but want to camp for about 2 weeks.

Nappywise, I have got to have a big clearout of nappies and wraps as I have boxes of stuff that isn't being used . I just don't have the time/energy to go through them all!

Just had a take away as no energy, but get annoyed when that is most of last nights wages gone!

mumface · 11/10/2009 20:47

Been bowling tonight, multiple nappy crisis's. Soaking jeans on Lewis with Bumgenius on for only 2 hours, put Coolababy on, massive poo straight away, no more nappies in bag except medium itti for Connor so put that on him. It did fit, just! So was bowling in just t-shirt + tiny black itti! v cute though.

Octothechildherder · 11/10/2009 21:22

jenny - will check to see if tickets were on pallet for show in my green box if not will be talking to HO tomorrow anyway about a few things -will check everything for you tbh I don't think they have set up a club forum yet!

newspaperdelivery · 11/10/2009 22:08

Back from Christening - it was a super super day. Really enjoyed by all, even by dd2 who smiled all day.

Her UD tree nappy was worn to great effect

Will upload pics when have some energy - though ours are pants so I hope other people have good ones!

Happy Birthday Scotia!

newspaperdelivery · 11/10/2009 22:45

Pics on fb - but they are pants. I'll make you all look again when I get some good ones to share

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 11/10/2009 23:19

TBH the forum was mostly what I joined LP for I was under the impression we would be able to use the one that was already set up? Thanks for checking things out for me. I emailed Jane about a week or so ago but haven't had a reply? Is that normal?

Think I might order a set of the half price micros and sell some and keep some for me. Could do with some quick drying nappies!

newspaperdelivery · 12/10/2009 09:59

I heart the micros - they are fab under a fleece wrap or wool for night. They dry so fast that her nappy is only damp. Hurrah!

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 12/10/2009 12:15

Anybody looking for girly medium ittis?

And does anybody know the going rate for the pop in boosters in EUC?

mumface · 12/10/2009 13:07

OOh I am excited I have just ordered a maclaren pushchair for Connor as I want something lightweight to put in the car (I have a phil n teds) I am hoping to use it at the baby show if it comes in time. As we (me & ex-hubbie)are only taking Connor
(He isn't interested in baby stuff is going to Maddame Tussaud horror thingy instead!)
