Lewis is starting to grow out of his onesize pockets now (Blueberries,Coolababy, Bumgenius) He has permanent lines around the top of his thighs as they are chunky. Although they all still have room around the waist. I was thinking of trying a large Fuzzi Bunz. Any other ideas for a 30lb+ pocket? Not keen on Minki pockets or fleece, want something slim fitting.

mumface Fuzzis will prob be a good idea inless you go for WN or UD? Fuzzis go up to an XL too. Will he fit in the large blueberry side snap? Its only up to 35lb though so might not last long.

Yey to the night nappies working, i had leaky fleece this morning

mumface · 09/10/2009 16:21

Yes, I have 3 blueberry sidesnaps and they are a better fit on him but on largest on leg and snug at that. Also bit expensive. I think he has had a growth sput as they were all ok until a couple of weeks ago.

Yes very expenisve if you need to buy a whole lot!!!

Fuzzis will probably be best bet price wise too. If you have any probs finding large or XL let me know i can always order some in, due to do an order soon anyway.

Ds has had a growth spurt too, his Medium Itti suddenly doesn't fit very well and his jeans are all too short! Gosh a good excuse to go shopping me thinks!

which colour itti shall i help myself too lol

mumface · 09/10/2009 16:43

OOh have one of each!
Got an aqua large Fuzzi coming

mumface - we had the same problem with ellen, if he has outgrown bgs etc leg wise WN, OS fuzzi, UD wont be any good either. wonderoos have larger legs? i dont like them personally.
xl fuzzis might work like babybots said

we gave up and went full time with 2 parters.

no WN order still

fingers crossed for monday

mumface · 09/10/2009 17:17

Hope Large fits, it says 30-45lb. Have noticed Twinkle have some old style xl on sale for £8.Is there much difference?

OP posts:
Babybots · 09/10/2009 17:32

Oh no i cant have one of each DH would go mad!!!

From what i can remember theres not much difference. I think the wing shape was the main difference. As in new shape is like a block instead of tapered. Oh and some reinforced seams here and there! Looks like a good deal though. but your right he sould be fine in the large for now.I've got a fuzzi os in Apple Green its lush!

Gosh is that WN been posted? or is it lost in the royal mail mountain some where? that seems like ages!!

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 09/10/2009 17:47

Did toddler group today. Didn't sell any nappies, which was fine but I did hope to at least have a conversation about them! Nobody was remotly interested. Oh well. Sold about 20 books though (Selling off Usborne books) so it was still worth doing, as Elouise loved it anyway.

Can anybody recommend any fitted nappies that have a completely stay dry inner? Talia just hates to be at all wet and I am giving up using stuff like WNNL/BBH etc that don't keep her dry as as sooon as she wees she is uncomfy. Don't think the hard water helps though I love LP micrros but they are just not absorbant enough. We often add an EP hemp on the outside and that works well in the day for a couple of hours. UDs are goood too, but I only have about 8 in medium and they are slow drying.

Octothechildherder · 09/10/2009 17:49

Sorry - busy day in Swindon - having some down time with family! Use a totsbots spotty fleece cover - very impressed. Feel a new addiction coming on!

Speak soon!

mumface · 09/10/2009 18:04

Jenny I like Bimbles/Bumbles for their fleece inner. Never tried them but Twinkle also have Kissaluvs colours with fleece inners size 1 and 2 for £5 in sale section. Am tempted myself.

OP posts:
mumface · 09/10/2009 18:13

Oh, just read elsewhere it's not a staydry fleece in kissaluvs, it's fleece like cotton jersey.

OP posts:
ilovemydogandmrobama · 09/10/2009 18:15

kissaluvs -- it's like the fleece inside of a sweatshirt

newspaperdelivery · 09/10/2009 18:31

I like Kissaluv shape but the fabric makes me shudder.

Hi all
Jenny - just ask for fleece or minkee lining in any custom nappy - Weenotions do them. I'm ordering all nappies from WN, Upsy Daisy, Holden's Landing etc with minkee or fleece now.

Just had despatch email from WN Had one yseterday too! So should have Antonia's pirate monkey night nappy and fleece soaker arriving soon. Yeay!

LatinDAISYcal · 09/10/2009 19:50

mumface, I've got a petite toddler fuzzi you can try if you like? it's much longer in the rise so good for chunky legs.

jenny, what about bumhuggers?

LatinDAISYcal · 09/10/2009 19:55

or eco bumbles and then you can stuff them with whatever inserts you have.

I sold some bambinex nappies to a friend ages ago (they were DD's) and have just bought them back......only to realise they are size 1s not 2 and some of them are pink . bumble isn't a huge wetter though so they are fine for absorbency, just very slim fitting on him. Will use them for my hire kits I think.

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 09/10/2009 20:04

I HATE bumhuggers. They go rock solid in our hard water. And very bulky for daytimes too and just not a good fit. If we had softerwater I may feel different.

newspaperdelivery · 09/10/2009 20:09

I felt a new bumhugger at Solfest at a little nappy display. I couldn't believe it was the same fabric! Mine are like canvas due to lack of tumble drying and hard water.

mumface · 09/10/2009 20:33

Thanks Latin, will see how I get on with the Large thats coming first. Not heard of that size before.

OP posts:
Jabula · 09/10/2009 23:11

I hate bumhuggers too, for the same reason. Ours is soooo stiff and uncomfortable looking.

ellieloooooooooooooween · 10/10/2009 08:57

Morning all,
Stupid Ipod and my fat finger, I was trying to click on next on clicked hide thread then couldnt find you all, have been busy though, started again to try and build my website and been trying to think of a good name for it too not got very far though. Had to strip my nappies again but used a bit of vinegar and seems to have done the trick.
Did you have any luck on a good night nappy jenny thats a shame about your toddler group but at least you got some books sold.
Got some lollipop softees coming

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 10/10/2009 10:01

I actually really like my lollipop nappies! I just wish they were a tad more absorbant. But if we weren't talking about heavy wetters then I think they would be perfect. Love the feel of the micros - don't get that soggy feeling! I have just prewashed the size 2s from octo and going to try them this afternoon. Have only used size 1 before.
