Ahhh bedbugs. Can't afford but really need some.

I thoughtbumhuggers were a nighttime nappy? Or maybe they are but not a good one.

I haven't tried night notiions or ud's either. Sigh. I could really do with abou £60.

Babybots · 08/10/2009 19:39

Jenny do you email Jane?

Oh you wont believe what i put on Ds last night!

I'd run out of dry night nappies so i used a CT! But chickened out and used a wrap over the top. I was amazed this morning it was dry!

Hmm im not much good at specific night nappies as im still using my 2 parts. Cant wait to try a bedbug though.

mumface · 08/10/2009 19:50

Are Green kids pockets any good? I have found some in Monkeyfoot wetbag fabrics including guitars, diggers and fly by day planes!

Tree Ella's house bumhuggers are on offer at the moment at Nappy zone in some pretty prints. They also have Drybees all fleece nighttime pocket nappies which look good.

ooh yes on etsy they all use the same fabrics - I haven't bought any but tempting to get matching nappies! The ouch pouches are coming in matching lol There seem to be lots of burp clothes in matching too. Not sure if worth stocking - I had some lovely dwell ones but never remembered to take them out!

I have bumhuggers tree - will email you.

Jenny - email Jane - if you don't get your show tickets email me and I will leave on the door for you.

My curry was very yummy last night!

Was the swindon show today - quite busy - a lady came up and I was convinced it was one of you - she was using ittis, coolababy, bambinex and other thread specific nappies! Wanted a night nappy - sent her in NappySheds direction as she lived in Oxfordshire and wanted a trial.

Octothechildherder · 08/10/2009 20:10

and we had fleece success last night - so impressed!

newspaperdelivery · 08/10/2009 20:13

Am very of you all going to shows.

Thanks for tips people

swampster · 08/10/2009 20:16

Greenkids Anytimes and Minkytimes are great, mumface - they invariably are my first nappy of the day as they are idiot-proof and easy to put on with bleary eyes. But I hear the Funtimes ones which are the prints (I think) aren't as reliable for some reason.

Have you tried BBH bamboos, tree?

When do your Bedbugs land, Babybots?

swampster · 08/10/2009 20:19

Which fleece, Octo?

Babybots · 08/10/2009 20:20

Hmmmm Octo, ive had loads of orders from Oxford was it one of our customers??

newspaperdelivery · 08/10/2009 20:25

I have one swapster and find it a great nappy, but I have a very precious problem with it. I don't like the fact it isn't lined, so Hatts is in a wet nappy round her waist and everywhere. Am to admit am such a sap. Its one of the reasons I liek pockets so much.

Its a great design though, if they lined it it would be utterly fab.

newspaperdelivery · 08/10/2009 20:25

Yes Octo, what have you been using?

LatinDAISYcal · 08/10/2009 20:40

I had some green kids anytimes and one gorgeous strawberry print funtimes. the anytimes were great and super reliable with the GAD inserts, but mine had to go back as they developed little runs (like in tights). I was really disappointed as I sooo loved them. The funtimes was lovely, but the outer was cotton and it used to wick after about an hour and a half. Beautiful under a summer dress though.

I still have the GAD inserts and use them in fuzzis or BG if going to be a while in the car etc.

swampster · 08/10/2009 20:42

You'd have to get your Bedbug custom fleece-lined then. I think they are usually OBV - mine certainly are.

Why don't you go to Weenotions and start building your ideal night nappy? Then when you do have the funds you can go back and get it? Cheaper than a Bedbug and fleece, minky or cuddlesoft-lined. Bamboo velour outer sounds much nicer than towelling (IMO).

MrBabyBots · 08/10/2009 20:42

Swampster - They should be with us shortly, can't give an exact just yet

newspaperdelivery · 08/10/2009 20:52

Ooo fantasy shopping Now that I can do!

LittlePants · 08/10/2009 21:50

My team has come out with great results from testing Sweet Night nappies for night time. They're waterproof fleece outered AI2s with 12 layers of bamboo, which un popper and open out to wash and dry. No PUL and polar fleece lined. They are gorgeous as well, although a bit pricey, unless you get some extra soakers, which makes them a lot more reasonable!!

purplesal · 08/10/2009 22:10

Thanks Octo

ellieloooooooooooooween · 08/10/2009 22:11

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 08/10/2009 22:27

I am busy as I have my first nappyweb booking tomorrow at a toddler group and doing Usborne books at the same time. And bringing the children

I am in a bit of a funny mood too. Worrying about my sis and BIL. BIL is having open heart surgery in the morning and has been in hospital today and overnight to prepare. Fingers crossed for them. x

newspaperdelivery · 08/10/2009 23:01

Good luck!!

Have new nappy pics on fb

Has anyone tried Issy Bear - minky in particular?

mistermoo · 09/10/2009 00:03

Tree...well, I guess i am biased, but these were the answer to our night nappy prayers. The inserts are amazingly absorbent, and even my mega-heavy-wetting boy went through the night with the 'night' insert (this is why I stock them!!)

The minky version is just very waterproof, and very comfy too, I think!
My sister, who had to use despicables for ages at night also agrees that these have been the answer..

newspaperdelivery · 09/10/2009 09:32

oooooo.....

...are they an all in one? Hoe are they for drying? Will they go crunchy, we have hard water. As in South central gang warfare hard.
Whats the night insert made of?

Questions questions....

Actually last night was good. Lollipop softee and shorties, sticky with lanolin. Back to damp nappy only and no wet patch. Yay!

I think my longies are too loose a knit and need a bit of felting. Too scared to do it though!
