Had overnight success with Lewis in bedbug and Debbies fleece pull on soaker. Just as well, as had fluffy post today of one in mocha for Connor & 4 bandana bibs which I only ordered yesterday!
Am going out tonight for the first time in about a year to a wedding reception. Must not come home tipsy and compute or else might end up with a large parcel full of expensive fluff on my doorstep

Yes I did manage to get some lovely orders while I was away, which I didn't really expect as I know how people don't like to wait for their orders!

I need to do lots of work on my website now that I am back and have lots of new stock. But I have so much to do and I am working tonight till 1am! So it might have to wait a day or 2. Orders will be posted of course though.

Octo - got the lovely wetbags and BF aprons thank you very much. Will be the next product uploaded onto the site. And I will of course try a couple for myself hehe

My new nappy I am launching very soon is in production and should be here within a few weeks. Very excited about them.

kmummy · 26/09/2009 16:47

Oh 4 sorry to hear that, ive had it once before and never want it again, hope the antibiotics start working soon.

Glad you had a nice time Jenny welcome back and goodluck for your next few busy days!

MJ loved your pics on CNT, think i may get a couple black ittis so he can keep the 'look' through out the day!

Mumface, ive just bought some longies from the wooly link you posted, i blame you hehe!

Also bagged a couple wraps and a bubu from CNT today

Am going to put more on CNT next week, have loads here that isnt being used and have a list of what i want next month, so need funds!

newspaperdelivery · 26/09/2009 17:26

Welcome bck Jenny. I haven't been about much but had I been I would have missed you

Can you see the infection focus 4? Get massaging and combing. Poor you it's the pits.

No purchases here I do need more wipes solution though.

mumface · 26/09/2009 17:27

Some of those longies are on my wish list (sky vert, which did you choose?) for next week. Along with 4 more bandanas, 2 bedbugs and some weenotions oogabooga wipes. I really need woolly care wash/lanolin but keep putting it off as it's not a fun fluffy purchase!

newspaperdelivery · 26/09/2009 17:41

Where are you getting them from again?

kmummy · 26/09/2009 17:53

I got the Marine Bleu....put a knitted wrap back as am waiting for some custom soakers and longies already, so decided on the one hehe! During October im going to limit myself 0yeh right!)need two more bedbug (babybots!) the custom longies and soaker (black with skull embroided on the back) 6 more ittis and HOPEFULLY a direct order to bububebe..these will have to wait if funds do not permit

Newspaper its called Woollywraps, im hiding now though as youl spend a fortune...it wasnt me ok i blame mumface

Who was it on here that bought lanolin from me? Just want to check it arrived safely?

TBH we are glad to be back. Had big rows with MIL who has always hated me but for some reason we agreed to go with them. Will post a thread about it all when I get a chance but it was a nightmare. She annoyed me before we even got on the plane - she fed Talia a jar of baby food while I was changing Elouise - knowing full well I was waiting to do BLW . Honestly, I left her for 5 mins so she must have planned it!

newspaperdelivery · 26/09/2009 18:02

OOOOOOOO.

I hate being skint

Must lanolise mine.....I have 2 pairs needing attention.

Babybots · 26/09/2009 18:10

Hi All,

Just a quick visit from me until later, need to put DS to bed.
Can some one help me quick;y pleaseeeeee!

Ive got a fleece soaker to try, and want to use it over night. But is it as simple as i put it on instead of a wrap? is it ok to cover it with Pj's and a sleeping bag or does it need to be out to get the airflow??

I kno wthat sounds really stupid coming from a seller but this is an area new to me!

Please some one answer me quckly!

swampster · 26/09/2009 18:36

Fleece should be fine to cover with something loose-fitting. It is only really when you do things like popper-up too tightly over that you get leaks. Some fleece is better than other fleece, I have never once had a leak with a Stacinator.

I have been tempted by Woollywraps for years now and have always resisted. I might be about to give in!

Hi Swampster!

Thank you, I guess im a bit scared that i'll be sorting out a very wet baby and cot in the middle of the night!

I've just put him in a pj top and a sleeping bag so nothing was tight over the fleece. I'll check him when i give him his 10/11pm bottle and see how it goes! I hope it works.

Jabula · 26/09/2009 19:03

Hi BB,
We use fleece as a wrap, just use in place of PUL wrap and put under babygro/pjs, no probs at all, never leaked. We've got a Tot Bots one, which I really like.. in fact I was looking for another one today but can only find it in red and I already have red. humph.

newspaperdelivery · 26/09/2009 19:17

Same here BB - tb fleece under anything and no leaks. I certain amount of condensation on the cotton maybe, but not damp or anything.

Am to say that dd has merino and also cashmere trousers and a merino wool bag for fleece or wool nights. Am such a spender of the £££ I don't have,

She's asleep on knee now in pale blue cashmere trousers. I could eat her. Very soft hot water bottle!!

Last night we had a wierd one. DH forgot to change her so she went 6pm - 8am in a modern baby pop-in. It was soaked, but no leaks.

Babybots · 26/09/2009 19:20

Good i feel slightly less worried now Thanks!

News - I use modern babypop in at night some times usually with out leaks too

Octo i hope your heads better!

LatinDAISYcal · 26/09/2009 20:25

bumble is in cloth tonight; first time I've used cloth overnight since a few disastrous attempts with Dd and a tots rainbow wrap (I sionce found out that the rainbow wasn't thick enough for overnight use)

Anyhoo he is in a little kiwi quick flip with a tots flexiwrap over the top...wish me luck.

tree, I saw some hand knitted merino/cashmere sleeping bags on an american site.....do you think they would be good for over night either with just nappy underneath or nappy and wool cover and then wool bag? And more importantly, would people buy them????? I fancy trying my hand at one, but should probably use longies/shorties first

newspaperdelivery · 26/09/2009 20:36

Ii think they would be great over a wool wrap.

I don't know if they would work as a lanolised layer - worth a go though.

I'd like a merino cashmere bag to climb into. I'm tired. ##Good luck for a dry night.

Ellas bum hugger and an airflow here, all the wool needs lanolising and fleece in wash. I miss them, she is so so wet in the morning with the pul wraps. Only damp with wool or fleece.

TheNattyTheHippy · 26/09/2009 20:48

one full wool convert here, its all ellen wears at home now. never had much luck with fleece tho.
charlie went to bed in a tots size 2 bamboozle with a BG insert and a EP hemp booster last night, and it only just did him till morning.

i need my WN night nappies, i hope they dont take to long!
ive ordered huggles too as ive heard they make good night nappies.

ive got a tots fleece i might try again tonight, charlie has been asleep since 6 tho, so i suppose it would be a short night so a good one to test with.

i want some longies, all i have are disana which i love, but im getting the fluffy itch...

I like beehind shape, but bh are fleece lined and so much more comfy for her botty. I usually try and line the beehind as much as poss with fleece liners.
