Jenny- are you sure about the CT? Would it leAve you out of pocket?

mumface · 15/09/2009 20:42

The wrap isn't tight if anything the Ecobub is tighter as it has poppers at thigh. It's more of a sore rash. Slightly raised and bumpy IYSWIM. More like nappy rash but not spotty.

Myjob I have the exact problem with bumg's! but the velcro seems to rub the top of his thighs aswell as his tummy, i think its worse now hes crawilng. Unfortunatly most of my nappies are BG's so i've brought(ok pinched) some more coolababy's to use, so his legs can heal up! I think im going to need to switch to more nappies with poppers too.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 15/09/2009 20:50

should have known that you guys didn't just stop talking nappies today and that there would certainly be a new thread by now! lol

Why is it that it seems the only thing I can reliably get on with are fitteds? I so love the fit/shape/look of Clement's medium dalmation Berry Plush - it's such a lovely fit, but used as a AI2 nappy that it is, we end up with urine just running out of it! It's happened both times I used it with its insert. So I only get any use out of it when used as a wrap. Guessing there's not too much point in keeping it, but I always like to have some fancy nappies! lol

Hello. Bookmarking as mega busy!!

Octothechildherder · 15/09/2009 21:19

aha - here you all are!

Jenny - have posted order 48 hours - so should get thurs/fri. no silver liners in it tho - email me when you get back. Paypal have frozen my account argghhh as I seem to have missed doing something when I opened my virtual terminal. You think they would just put the terminal on hold but can't buy anything from my main account. Hopefully will sort out tomorrow.

kmummy · 15/09/2009 21:20

Evening ladies, thought youd all disappeared then hehe!

Fingers crossed the CT works for us....does it look quite big on then....i think ive been spoilt by my ittis!

Mumface your poor DD, hopefully you find the cause. I to dont like the WNs as much as i thought i would...weird how nappies are different for everyone!

LO is teetching really bad so had a few bad nights, has a stinking cold to bless him On an up note, i managed to snag a bedbug today, am stupidly excited about trying it to!

mumface · 15/09/2009 21:23

Rachel I have that problem with my BerryPlush, can't get it to work. Havn't dared use it as a wrap as I only use 2 parts at night.Don't get on with Blueberry wraps either. Might try Imse wrap on Connor tonight, but it looks a bit big maybe. My bedbug has been posted! Hope it fits over it.Not even sure which child it is for. m/l says 15-30lb so should in theory fit both at either end of the spectrum.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 15/09/2009 21:29

My favourite wraps on Clement are LoveBums - they're nice & roomy (so cover the largest of nappies) and have fleece cuffs and waist, so there are no problems with marks or sore legs, etc. They're brilliant! Very similar to Stacintor So Simple wraps, but these have more poppers (so a lot better adjustment) and a lot more roomy/flexible.

Who uses BabyLegs here? Just come across these bargains!
stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/Bestbuys4baby__W0QQ_sidZ137265413?LH_TitleDesc=&_nkw=babylegs&submit=GO

I love the idea, but don't use the pair I have very often. Well, the official BL ones I had seemed too snug on Clement, so I have a roomy wahm pair that he wears every now and again. I'd prob use them a lot more for a girl under dresses tho! lol

mumface · 15/09/2009 21:39

Kmummy which Bedbug did you get? Was it from Jabula, I am tempted at parrot and chocmint ones!

4andnotout · 15/09/2009 21:42

Oh no i have bought dd3 a union jack dress from cnt a few days ago, would it be overkill for her to wear the matching babylegs? For £4 all in that is a bargain!

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 15/09/2009 21:43

I don't get babylegs?

I have the same problem with my berryplushes. They seem to be OK with wee now that Talia has grown but it doesn't contain poo explosions!

kmummy · 15/09/2009 21:46

Its white with a rocket embroidery...i got it from CNT cant believe it as they dont come up often on there, i LOVE the ones on jabula! I want to try one out first...although i do have a dunk n fluff reserved on there its the rocket one, go look!

I don't use the babylegs we already have but they would match...she might look like a member of the BNP though so best leave them.

mumface · 15/09/2009 21:50

4 reminds me of Gingerspice in that unionjack dress
What I don't like about babylegs is that they look to me stockings with that bit of cheeky thigh at the top.

Octothechildherder · 15/09/2009 21:52

Naughty bestbaby - not meant to sell them on ebay - against terms and conditons of supplier! (unless has changed recently) I have been stocking them - bought one batch but have been slow to sell - cute and very practical for a crawler.

Tell me about bedbugs - they seem expensive but are they the answer to night times?

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 15/09/2009 21:53

Thanks octo - hopefully should be here Thursday! I will be keeping everything crossed! Had been worrying about what to do about BF when in a swimming costume! We are in a big family group and don't think I want to reveal all to them!

4 - its fine. Obviously I won't be able to sell it on my website but I will just use it myself! I was going to order me one anyway when I next did an order for them, so it means I loose the PROFIT I made from your sale, but not lost any of my own money iyswim. Anyway - I know you and wouldn't want you to loose out on something I sold you! lol. Anyway - I don't mind at all! If you could do me a favour though and not post it till the end of next week? So it doesn't arrive when we are away? Feel free to carry on using it in the meantime! Will save me prewashing it more! lol

mumface · 15/09/2009 21:53

If anyones into woollies, Jabula have some really cute ones coming soon with animal applique, pics on facebook.

4andnotout · 15/09/2009 21:54

Yes that's who i was thinking of!! The dress is like a replica Gingerspice dress I think it will look quite cute with a l/sleeve white vest underneath and navy tights.

Octo - No Babylegs havent changed their terms, Naughty!

I use babylegs alot but mainly stick them in my changing bag so i can cover up Z's knees if it gets cold or if hes in his sling and his trousers dont meet his socks! A very handy piece of kit i must say.

I like the look of the bed bugs too but yes expensive and i wouldnt want to cover up that pretty nappy if i had one!

swampster · 15/09/2009 22:07

Bedbugs are pure pleasure - they really are fluffy heaven. I do hate covering them up but, oh, the joy of uncovering them in the morning!!! I think they are my ultimate fluff.

Babylegs etc are ace in slings, and for the whole trouser thing generaly. And around the house. Good on older kids too, and on arms. I love em!! Only got one pair though

Very good instead of tights, which some don't like to use on boys, and which might cause nappy chaos with wicking and what have you. Also good for wool use at night [or fllece] if you want to ensue the wool can let air circulate and avoid dampness.

Yes - I love em!
