Hello all, I sometimes look at this thread whilst breastfeeding to see which nappies you are talking about. I then google them to see if I want to try them. Have had lots of yummy fluffy post in the last few weeks so wanted to thank you for your advice!

I've even managed to order some custom Hahtuvahullu longies!

mumface · 25/09/2009 11:16

I've got some Hah..whatever wool shorties coming. Blue with caterpillar applique on bum. Did you order them straight from Poland then? I've got them on FB but it's all in Polish.

mumface · 25/09/2009 11:28

Oh they are here! Some more just been put on Jabula if anyone wants a look

Welcome Ager

Busy today - have two events in the next 24 hours! argghhh No kids though - all at school/preschool so can concentrate. Am making some spaghetti & pesto, then off to sainsburys (don't normally go - dh does it - so quite exciting lol)

Welcome Ager!

Pinching a few seconds while we eat poached eggs. Putting up a new shed - run out of storage with so many nappies! LOL. DH is being soooo well behaved - not a single cuss so far! And we've got the base down now, which is the hard part has to be EXACTLY square (and that means to the mm for my DH)!

If you don't hear from me again today, you'll know we're still outside battling!! Off out to hold panels!

mumface · 25/09/2009 14:10

Have cremated a pile of platic backed bibs in the tuble dryer this morning
What better excuse to get some bandana bibs?
Lewis wore a Debbie's nappies fleece soaker for his nap. They are a bargain at £4.50-£5.50! Look well make. The x-large is a perfect fit on him & so far no leaks. Might put on him tonight if it's still dry. They look good if anyone doesn't want the hassle/cost of wool.

4andnotout · 25/09/2009 14:17

Hi Ager

I recieved my first ever csp pad today I will have to order a few more.

I'm full of cold and feel like poo today, dd4 was up a lot in the night and when she woke up this morning she had 2 new teeth

Anyone have any spare inserts they need to sell?

It's lovely and sunny here today, it's chilly though and quite windy but ideal conditions for getting loads of washing dry, I think I'm up to my 4th load on the line!

BaronConker · 25/09/2009 14:30

Bonjour 4, what kind of inserts do you want? I have pretty much every kind...

4andnotout · 25/09/2009 14:33

Bonjour Baron
I love bamboo and hemp, especially if mf topped, I need about 3 for oneside pockets.

ager · 25/09/2009 16:47

Hello BFing again, well just finished. dd2 nursed herself to sleep and now on my chest - love it. DH at home today otherwise this is a rare treat as dd1 gets jealous.

I found the Hahtu... webpage using google so it was translated for me. I think I'm going to order some from Jabula too so that I can use them next week as they come ready lanolised. Then I will try my best not to order anything else for a few weeks.

Octothechildherder · 25/09/2009 17:43

4 I have a free prefold mountain in my garage - I use them in fuzzis and they are really absorbent.

Curry for tea - two meltdown kids yelling - arghh

4andnotout · 25/09/2009 17:53

I have heard that small prefold make great inserts but I think I'm the only clothie who has never ever had any!

The big dd's have gone away for the weekend, dp is being a complete and utter twunt so I'm a bit all rolled into one!

rusmum · 25/09/2009 18:33

i have lots ffp of you want a few?

yes, prefolds make fab inserts! The only thing I've ever trusted in pockets for Benjain!

Scotia · 25/09/2009 20:47

Hi all

Myjob, well done - the longies are great.

I've just started knitting a pair on circular needles. It's the pattern Tree sent me, and it is easier than the pattern makes it look. I'm just using acrylic wool this time though - we don't really need them to be waterproof as they go on top of ittis and WN pockets. I got some lovely bright multicolour wool from Dunelm Milland it was only about £3 so a cheap pair of breeks for the wee man!

And I got an email tonight to say my other WN order has been dispatched , and my moomoo itti should hopefully be here tomorrow too.

I got some second hand Motherease OS with boosters today - free! Also 3 Motherease airflow wraps, but they are done so I've just chucked them out, and a Lovebums wrap too. The nappies are really discoloured but not stained so I've bought a Dylon dye in bright blue for them. I forgot to get salt though so will have to wait until tomorrow to dye them

4and, I've never had prefolds either but I have got a bamboo square I've used as an insert before. I need to get some other inserts I think as I only have microfibre and everyone raves about bamboo and hemp, so I'd like to try some in my pockets. Thant will be my next quest...

LatinDAISYcal · 25/09/2009 20:52

blooming heck myjob; how do you find the time? every time I get my knitting out I have either the cat or bumble hanging off my needles so it needs to be done in the evenings...and then that's precious computing time!! how did you do the ties for them? Is it just braided?

I need to get some circular pins and try some of the top down patterns.

Phew - what a marathon. Still got the roof to go on the shed, but the main part is up, but didn't finish until 7:45, when it went dark!

4 & Scotia, and anyone else! I've got some ex-trial p'tits flexible bamboo inserts which I will be selling on shortly, if that's any help to anyone. Not sure how many - need to check the stock box, but I know there are a few.

Shattered now - going to bed!

Scotia · 25/09/2009 22:10

Myjob, this order was from the 9th September so I'll bet yours will be ready in the next few days

I'm still waiting for 2 night nappies from Upsy Daisy that I ordered on the 24th or 26th August, but I know there have been delays there because of the little girl being bitten by a dog.

I use a knitting dolly to make a cord, lol. It's a bit thick but it works well.

ive ordered: matching wipes, changing mat, wet bag, and fairy cosy (to use a wipes bag when out) all in ogga booga print.
XL wrap for ellen in chocolates on pink cotton fabric
NN new style
NN old style (instock so what the hey)
northen llights bamboo (plain outer so i can dye it!)

that is really really bad, total of £100 odd quid in one month

needless to say DH took the credit card away¬

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 26/09/2009 01:25

Hi all! Back from my holiday and just checking in. I have just read through all the chat which has taken a long time!!

Did you miss me? Lol. Anybody who ordered from me when I was away - nappies will be sent out tomorrow!

This is going to sound really bad - but I have a whole pile of parcels and I am going to leave them to tomorrow! I just don't have the energy . I know my big coolababy order is here, which is fleece pockets and AIOs. Not sure what the others are - not that big though.
