MrsDimples that's awful! I was only deaf for two days and it was just horrendous, I can't imagine how bad it must be to be stuck like that. Luckily my mum is a GP and she attempted to syringe them on Friday night but my ear was too swollen so she couldn't get the syringe in but after 24 hours of antibiotic drops she had another go, and now I can hear! Tis like a miracle. Still hurts though, have got drops to use for a week, and I've got to lay off pretending to be a shark at the swimming pool with the boys for a few weeks!

Had a bit of a lie-in this morning - till 8am, woo hoo!, the bonus of being 'ill' , and when I got up DH had put DS3 in a strawberry fields itti. Am very impressed, he never normally ventures beyond a pre-stuffed BBOS or an Easyfit. I MUST have snapped the bits in all ready, there's no way he could have managed that!

TheNatty · 30/08/2009 10:19

ah baron my DH can handle ittis.. i think because they are colour coded snaps

my DH got very confused this morning putting on charlies size 2 tots poppered (folding down front atm as charlie still tiny)
he couldnt work out which way round the nappy went, and how to fold it down
bless him!

how much do u want to bet when i have my pretty fitted (WNNL and mutts) he will put them on without wraps!

well at least he is trying, when we had ellen he used to put disposables on her all the time id get up to a baby with no fluff on!

bank holidays suck. no fluff for 2 days. how will i cope?

TheNatty · 30/08/2009 10:20

oh and mumface im the same. STILL havent used new longies.. for fear of charlie pooing on them.

Baronconker - hope you feel better soon

BG are bringing out a new nappy in september ... not long now ... Can't imagine it will be minki or embroidered tho!

Sat next to mountain of ironing - dh gone to shop to get fry up food and juice yummy!

Octothechildherder · 30/08/2009 10:51

TheNatty - get your children/dh to wrap up a nappy and post through letter box! Instant joy or play guess the nappy - they blindfold you and you have to guess which one it is - a bit sad but great fun (((realises has freaked out the nappy lovers completely)))

.... off to hunt down new nappies ....

TheNatty · 30/08/2009 10:55

pmsl octo! DH already thinks im bonkers.

so this new BG? spill! i want pretty patterns!

Octothechildherder · 30/08/2009 10:57

just know it is called econobum and will be launched at the trade show in cologne in two weeks time.

twoclimbingboys · 30/08/2009 11:32

octo - have you got any sky wallflower in xl. I just tried to order one while there is still free postage. It'll be good if you haven't probably - I have already spent for too much this month!

TheNatty · 30/08/2009 11:40

econobum

intrigueing...

mumface · 30/08/2009 12:08

Liking the dream-dri.Lewis had it on 9am til 12pm with an nap.It was lovely & dry & soft on the outside. Some nappies like the totsbots pocket are making his inside legs sore at the moment.
Wishing I had £80.50 to spare have seen multipack 5 blueberry sidesnaps.

JennyPenny22 · 30/08/2009 12:26

The coolababy pockets are very much like BG but with poppers if thats any good to you? I will be running a special offer through September (when they come in stock) for £5 each.

AND I am getting coolababy wet bags in a few colors which will be purse friendly. But they are not as lovely as Octos ones!

Octo - I am going to email you again later when I have more time about the bags.

I can't list my stuff for sale because my CAT ran out! And I need to verify my paypal before I can pay for anything else as I reached my sending limit! ARGH!

OP posts:
Octothechildherder · 30/08/2009 12:39

I'll have a coolababy to try Jenny - will email you.

2cb - have two XL sky wallflower coming this week. They are just selling out faster than I can stock them atm and have 200 coming in - they are simply being repacked & posted!

Octothechildherder · 30/08/2009 12:44

meant to say you can order it and select free postage and will send once arrives.

twoclimbingboys · 30/08/2009 12:46

Thanks octo that's great of you - should I order it in a different style and then just put in comments that I would actually like sky wallflower or wait until it shows as stock and then order it?

Octothechildherder · 30/08/2009 13:04

just select one that is listed and will sort it out at this end!

JennyPenny22 · 30/08/2009 13:54

ARGH! Getting so fustrated! I want to order my stock but can't till I re verify my Paypal account! I checked the bank yesterday but nothing had come up! Want to get the stock in so that I can open my site!! Or at least have it all on the way so I can open it with "coming soon".

Octothechildherder · 30/08/2009 15:07

oh no jenny! Looking forward to seeing your site. I have spent too much of today hunting down new products!

BaronConker · 30/08/2009 15:45

jenny that is so annoying, happened to me a few weeks back and it took ages to sort out - had to get DH to sort it as it was beyond me.

Also, jenny, can you explain to me how the review competition thing on CNT works? Do I have any way of knowing if I've been chosen for the shortlist of competition winners? I can't seem to find anything on CNT about it atall!

Octo, there is a nice review of pop n gro on madeformums.com

4andnotout · 30/08/2009 18:02

Guess who I just met as I was eating an icecream I. Mablethorpe?! Rusmum!!! It's a small world!!

Had an eventful weekend staying with rellies near Lincoln after dp was rushed to hospital last night after another angina attack, he was allowed to come home last night but are sending the blood and eecg results to our doc's. He is feeling bit knackerd and sore today but a day at the beach was just what the doctor ordered.

Looking forward to getting home and getting them in cloth and dd1 comes home Thursday after 4 weeks in France

Octothechildherder · 30/08/2009 18:09

ooh 4 - hope dp is okay.

How did you know it was rusmum? I have met lots of the april 2007 mums at meet ups, know a few mn'ers in real life and met sherkyerbouti once at a kids party! Please tell me she recognised the bags!!! tee hee!

Jenny - I am considering going to the BPA event coming up at excel - but as a customer to see what is available.

Octothechildherder · 30/08/2009 18:13

I want one of these!

www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=26466937

Octothechildherder · 30/08/2009 18:15

argh didn't work! go onto etsy and search diaper keychain

BaronConker · 30/08/2009 18:42

Gosh, 4, hope your DP is ok. Sounds really scary. Mine had a little hole in his lung once, and it made this popping noise every time he breathed. I can remember lying awake all night listening to him breathe and his lung making this noise, being absolutely terrified. Nemo (sp?) thorax or something...

JennyPenny22 · 30/08/2009 20:13

4 I really hope hubby is OK.

Octo - whats the BPA event? I just googled but couldn't find anything useful?
And do LP head office just answer emails in "office hours"

I have stuff for sale on real nappies listed now.

OP posts:
JennyPenny22 · 30/08/2009 20:33

Baron - you won't know about the CNT thing untill the 1st because they cant choose the months finalists before the month is over as they might get more reviews

The paypal thing STILL isn't showing on my mini statements? And just realised that being bank holiday means I can't go in the bank tomorrow. Grrr
