Blake's lagoon WNSS and WNAI2 arrived today! I'm really pleased with them.

Here are some photos of him in the WNAI2

4andnotout · 27/08/2009 21:43

Blimey - that thread filled fast! I didn't realise it was nearly full!

SOund of exhausted tree falling over.

Blake looks lovely

Hatts was out today in a funky white dress with little strawberrys on, and red binding [a cross over one from gap, perfect for nappy showing] She had strawberry fields Itti on, then green berry plush that picked out the leaves and branches, and looked a total star. No pics though I'll regret not getting pics of these fab outfits for sure.

Am away for weekend - so be back next week.

TheNatty · 27/08/2009 22:43

gosh that filled fast! i was refreshing it wondering where u all went... then looked at the post counter. duh!

how long did everyone mutts take to arrive? am v excited

Scotia · 27/08/2009 22:44

Aw, 2cb, your boys are gorgeous

And tree, love the sound of H's outfits too..

JennyPenny22 · 27/08/2009 23:20

Natty - I think about 2 weeks? Not sure. They will email when they are dispatched. I am not 100% sure how they fold down for small babies. I did do it for Talia but I dont think I actually did it right

OP posts:
TheNatty · 27/08/2009 23:24

i;ll email and ask when i get them if i cant work it out.

red itti arrived thia morning, the smalls are a much better fit, but will possibly only fit another month.

tcb ur boys are gorgeous.. bless em

JennyPenny22 · 27/08/2009 23:47

The small ittis fit for a lot longer than they look. Talias still fits at 4 months even though she has outgrown most size 1s and is almost going into 6-9months clothes

I'm excited...got some fluffy post coming without having to spend Paypal! LOL Swapped some of Abigail's outgrown clothes for a brand new purple bamboo BBH!!! I know I had some BBH and got rid of them - but that was before I realised the need for non-fleece lined night nappies. So maybe I'll find them different when I re-visit them! Hoping it might be nice to have for Clement!

JennyPenny22 · 28/08/2009 01:28

I have just ordered 50 coolababy pockets from china! YAY!

Only thing I am worried about is - I am hoping I am not stepping on anybodys toes. Babybots are currently the only UK supplier which I am taking away from them. BUT I cant see it staying that way for long anyway. And I am going to promote them locally mostly.

Does anybody know - if a nappy advisor has trial kits that she lends out - does she charge for this?

OP posts:
mumface · 28/08/2009 07:04

Jenny I would say charge a small fee that if redeemable against a future purchase,if they are having the kit for any length of time.If it's just for one week then free
Don't worry about toe stepping.Look how many stock itti's.
I am chuffed Connor slept from 11pm feed til 6am
Shame useless disposable leaked. Was trying to use up a few newborn ones still around from when he was born.

dawntigga · 28/08/2009 07:09

Ok, have bought 3 nappies to trial a Mothers Ease, Easy Peasy Bumble and one of the tinterweb which nobody had mentioned but thought I'd try it as the colours were funky.

Any advise re when to change etc when I've washed them a couple of times? BTW should I use fabric conditioner on them?

Morning all

I offically feel like shite this morning, i need more sleep, by the time i go to sleep it was midnight then feeding dd4 throughout the night and up at 6.15 Need more sleep...

Loads to do today as we are going to visit my aunt and uncle and cousins for the weekend, hoping it will be nice so we can head into Skeggy or Mablethorpe, got to pack all the nappies and clothes today whilst dp is at work so that we can just get in the car and go as soon as he gets back this afternoon.

4andnotout · 28/08/2009 07:11

The only fabric conditioner you can use is the one that is already in Bold 2in1, otherwise it affects the absorbancy.HTH

Octothechildherder · 28/08/2009 09:40

dawntigga - no fabric conditioner - ever! Would change cloth nappies every 2 1/2 - 3 hours as standard.

Jenny - I run the loan kits in my area for the Wiltshire Real Nappy Network and they go out for free from anything from a couple of days to a month. They are free - some advisors do charge. I also lend out odd bits and pieces for people to try as sometimes they just want to try a cover or different liners. They offer £30 cashback - so people tend to borrow the kit then order through me alothough they are not obliged to. I have all kinds of nappies in - not just the ones I stock as believe people should have the choice and see other products. I get petrol money for doing it which makes it more worthwhile aswell.

Go for it with coolababy - nothing like good competition!

BaronConker · 28/08/2009 09:47

Jenny, I've never had an itti AIO so not sure what that's like. But I suppose it is quite similar to a pop n grow, but so far not as absorbent. I love my pop n grows!! I've only prewashed my cushie twice and I'm hoping the absorbency will improve. The inserts crinkle up a lot when washed, too, I'm going to need to make more effort to stretch them out flat before drying... Also, don't know what I washed them with (maybe a random tissue got in there or summat) because the black fleece is all covered in white fluff which is annoying!!

JennyPenny22 · 28/08/2009 10:16

Baron - the fluff thing has happened to some of my ittis too, its annoying!

ARGH! THERE IS ANOTHER POSTAL STRIKE!

Well, my pop and grow leaked again this morning - after about 20mins!! It might still need more prewashing, but it has been washed thoughly (in with my strip washes for the nappies) about 5 times or more. Surely Microfibre shouldn't need more than 5? I actually really like the nappy - love the gussets, fluffyness and colours etc but thats not much good if it leaks! Elouise isn't even a heavy wetter anymore - she used her coolababy with just the thin MF insert for 4 hours and no leaks! I will give it more chances though as it might be where it is still new.

I got Bold 2in1 liquid tab things last night in tesco as they were on offer BUT I read that you only need one tab for whatever washing in whatever water - so that means I can't do half the amount? I usually use one powder tablet but it is recomended to use 2-3 so I am using a lot less than the usual amount?

Oh and 4 - your not the only one who didn't get any sleep! Elouise was waking all night and ended up in our bed and still just woke every half hour screaming, and of course waking Talia up. I think she is in a lot of pain with her teeth. But I can't get her to take calpol or neofen! I got some calpol in her last night eventually by just shoving it in between screams, but she ha wised up to that and clamps her mouth shut as soon as she sees it! Tried mixing it with yogurt this morning but no luck! Now just have a wasted yogurt and wasted neofen.

Can't get her to eat anything either.

DH has taken her for a walk to the liberary to get some new books and hoping she isn't screaming the place down!

Welcome back Myjob. Good news about fluffy post! I don't know anything about the postal strike, BIL mentioned it when speaking with DH on the phone. So it could be not true, or local. But we had no post yesterday or today so it sounds right! DH laughed at me and said "haha no more nappies for you for a few days" very mean!
