ilmd how is baby bama? I hope he is well now

ilovemydogandMrObama · 20/03/2009 22:39

Oh, thank you for asking! He's still on the frequent flyer program at Children's Hospital and we're going back for yet more tests. But he's been so much better since he was diagnosed as dairy allergic.

But leukaemia has been excluded, and for this, I am grateful!

Will send BBHs out this week

I am glad he is getting better - hopefully the tests will fully resolve it.

Should I pay on the e-mail address I used last time for the sandys?

Yay a new thread!

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 20/03/2009 22:52

oh, glad babybama's better!

how should I pay you?

and what do people think about MEOS/Onelife?

Sunflower - I love my MEOS/OL. I have both and honestly can't tell the difference. I use the snap in stay dry boosters with them which are fab and mean I don't need to use a liner and DD is rarely soaked in them with the booster in. I have lots of fancy pocket nappies but will not sell my MEOS till we are completely out of nappies. I have recently started to use under wool which works even better. I used to use with ME airflows which i thought was perfect till I tried wool and now that is my preference.

cyteen · 20/03/2009 23:27

Wotcha

ilmd best wishes to your DS (and you too)

thebluefoxategreensocks · 20/03/2009 23:28

*soon: Yes, the BH is an old style one, though hemp outer is still quite soft (not hard like some of them go). And fleece inside is leopard print - bit of fluff in aplix, but otherwise, good condition. Was thinking of £4.50 inc post if you (or anyone else!) is interested.

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 20/03/2009 23:46

thanks soon. I've got all my beloved bamboo sandy's which have been sat neatly in a bag since xmas (but it breaks my heart thinking of selling them) as the airflow leaves really bad marks on DD's chubby legs (no waist!) so I thought I'd leave them be as they are in excellent cond and sell them on and get a few onesize for wool days instead of struggling with terries (DD's getting quite a wriggler!). I guess then onelife would be cheaper as they come with the booster, though I like my bamboo...

TheNatty · 21/03/2009 00:04

racheal i am!
if soon dosnt want it

4andnotout · 21/03/2009 08:29

Morning all
Another sparkly thread i see
I hate dispicables I have to put a wrap over the top and yet i can still smell the chemically smell.

TheNatty · 21/03/2009 10:06

tree if you are about, and you havent paid for the BG's yet, i would save your money.
velcro is grey and freying, bobbly covers, and only one insert instead of the two. which means if i want to put them on a newborn i have to buy inserts now as these are the ones missing

soon2befamilyof4 · 21/03/2009 10:06

Well DD wore the bumhugger with an added 8 layers of bamboo and a wool cover and woke up soaked so I have all the bedding in the machine again. Not sure if I boosted it enough or if bumhuggers just aren't absorbent enough for her at night. I am hoping my preloved hemp inserts come today so I can use the WNNN tonight.

TheNatty · 21/03/2009 10:15

aw soon its hard isnt it?
i am going to order a WNNN when i can afford to, but atm making do with disposables.

you'll have to let me know how u get on when you get it

soon2befamilyof4 · 21/03/2009 10:20

yAY they just arrived.

TheNatty · 21/03/2009 10:28

bobsmum · 21/03/2009 10:40

rusmum · 21/03/2009 11:31

FLEECE- when to use/ not to use??? Good points bad points please!!

thebluefoxategreensocks · 21/03/2009 11:46

TheNatty: So you wanting the Bumhugger? Can get it posted to you on Monday morning if so! Paypal to [email protected] or let me know if you want to see pics.

soon2befamilyof4 · 21/03/2009 11:54

Rusmum - are you talking about fleece wraps or fleece inner/liners?

thebluefoxategreensocks · 21/03/2009 11:56

BTW, managed to get 2 old style Night Notions this morning! I'm excited!! They might just be cotton toweling (and not sure what the inserts are) but I'm happy to try them, whatever they are! I'm sure I can sell them on if they don't suit. Not tried any WN on Benjamin before, so will have to see how they fit.

And my Upsy Daisy night nappies are being posted today, so maybe I'll soon get some dry nights! Benjamin was wet again last night (bed & sleeping bag), so I really need something that is reliable!!

soon2befamilyof4 · 21/03/2009 12:00

The Natty - sorry you are disappointed with your BG. Have you contacted the seller?

treedelivery · 21/03/2009 12:04

TheNatty - damnnnnnn I just paid!! Damnnnnn!!

Grrrr

rusmum · 21/03/2009 12:26
