I thought I would be using Sandy's as they fit so well and are so sweet BUT I find I have grown too lazy for a two-part system and DH thinks his little darling is too wet in them. I have been using BumGenius one-sizes and find they fit pretty well. DS3 was a scrawny 7 pounder (not much bigger now). Also BBOS, BBSS (not as great yet) one small cocolate Itti and Greenkids Anytimes and Minkytimes.

Thank you for your messages there is such a huge choice, my dd is 4 months and 15lb 2 it says flexi tots go up to 18lb for size 1, what are your experiences of this?

soon2befamilyof4 · 15/03/2009 13:59

Can I ask, how much more bulky is a minkitimes to and anytime? I really want a soft nappy but don't want bulk!

Minkytimes are a bit more bulky than Anytimes - but very strokeable... I don't use the GK inserts with them yet as that would make them VERY bulky.

drlove8 · 15/03/2009 14:06

right om going to get flamed for this but, ive decided i love my berryplush more than my blueberrys! - the reason is the berryplush is a snap on rather than a pocket, which means i can use it just as a wrap if ive ran out of snap-in boosters!. and theyre about £4 cheeper ( so can get more for £XXX)

swampster · 15/03/2009 14:10

I am very tempted by Berry Plushes but I have yet to try one.

soon2befamilyof4 · 15/03/2009 14:15

What are berry plushes? Can somebody tell me more about the? (doesnt take much to get me interested in a new nappy!)

swampster · 15/03/2009 14:17

Berry Plush at Bumfluff and pre-loved medium sage here

TheNatty · 15/03/2009 14:21

they are lush! i would love a furry nappy, just because i want to stroke them!
unfortunatly we dont seem to get on with poppers here, only velcro otherwise i might be tempted with a berry plush

drlove8 · 15/03/2009 14:22

very similar to blueberry nappies, but made by jamtots, have poppers to hold inserts instead of pockets, and are sized.very quick drying

soon2befamilyof4 · 15/03/2009 14:31

hmmm, they do look good. Shame they are sized though as I am only really buying onesize stuff so it will fit both my girls. Although if that preloved one was the right size I would have been tempted to give it a go for that price. Do you have to change the outter every time or do you just change the inner? Does it work a bit like the modern baby pop ins? Didn't really get on with the pop in and have just swapped it for an anytimes.

TheNatty · 15/03/2009 14:40

has anyone used a Lil Stinkies? quite taken with them, and i have to buy bamboo or hemp inserts anyway for my big wetter. i thought £10 is ok for a custom made nappy, but suspicious of the cheapness being rubbish.

anyone?

drlove8 · 15/03/2009 14:48

you can just change the inner, unless there's poo.i dont know about MB pop-ins, havent used them, but my dd4 is 3(shes SN,so cant be trained yet)and pees like a horse!they cope with her fine! am away to google lil stinkies- havent heard about them !

TheNatty · 15/03/2009 14:52

lilstinkies.com

drlove8 · 15/03/2009 14:55

the patternson the lil stinkies are very cute, am loving the black floral and the blac and white flowers (looks silvery) trucks and cars would be great for a wee boy!,has anyone used them?

TheNatty · 15/03/2009 15:02

no i think they are super cute. they are from auz, so shipping is a fiver for 3 items, so you would have to order three at once to make it worth it.
im loving the peter rabbit, blue crushed velvet and the silver flowers one. i also like that you can have different coloured inner fleece, dark colours would stain so much less then white!

soon2befamilyof4 · 15/03/2009 15:16

Are the little stinkies AIOs or Pockets? Now I am tempted by them!! hehe

soon2befamilyof4 · 15/03/2009 15:18

They do them onesize too!!!! . I can see some of my money disappearing! Do you know if they accept paypal?

soon2befamilyof4 · 15/03/2009 15:23

how do you know what it is in £?

ChocOrange05 · 15/03/2009 15:33

soon www.xe.com is a good currency converter but the rates are better than the banks give so you may want to add 5-10% onto the converted cost to be conservative.

TheNatty · 15/03/2009 15:37

there is an option on the side of the page to change to £

TheNatty · 15/03/2009 15:38

paypal is currently the ONLY method of payment from uk they are accepting soon

soon2befamilyof4 · 15/03/2009 15:40

I am thinking about ordering 3 .

Before I order though - are they pockets? Do they come with any inserts? if they don't come with any inserts or anything maybe that is why they are so cheap as you still need to buy seperate inserts?

soon2befamilyof4 · 15/03/2009 15:47

Tell me what you think of these 3 patterns:
big flowers on black
minkee strawberries and cream
Minkee Gelato - Tequila Sunrise

TheNatty · 15/03/2009 15:48

no they have no inserts, they are pockets.
thats fine for me as i need to buy different ones as the microterry ones that come with most pockets are rubbish for toddler wee containment, fine for babies i imagine.
