Right i have £30 for some nappies, should i
a. get 3 bbos or bbss preowned
b. get preowned ittis
c. only get 2 new ittis

Im not going to sell the bg's to the lady on bounty, i will sell one to ann and then perhaps keep the rest.

rusmum · 02/02/2009 11:42

lol rachel- my fault i e mailed and she sent price and i took too long getting back to her!! never mind!!

4andnotout · 02/02/2009 14:29

Ok so instead i got
1 medium itti and 4 wonderoo's, might be swapping some bg's for bbos though

Rachel blueberry delux came today and is lovely thanks Waiting for one of the dd's to need changing so i can put it on!

4andnotout: Excellent - glad you're pleased! Hope it works well for you! xx

lollipopmother · 02/02/2009 16:14

4ANDNOTOUT Woops caps! - I am very at your BBOS swap, I'm desperately trying to find a cow BBOS or BBSS pre-loved but no one seems to want to part with them and I would feel guilty buying one brand new (not that I won't do it of course !).

This bloody snow is a nightmare, DP has completely put his foot down and said we're not going out for anything (that includes going to the post office 4andnotout, sorry ), he scared himself when he crashed the car with us all in it last wednesday in the ice and I think he worries that it'll happen again or that we'll get hit on the pavement if we're walking. I'm much more of a 'get on with it' type, but I'll humour him for today as he's looked after DD all day and even changed nappies !

4andnotout · 02/02/2009 21:21

lolipop im in no rush

My itti i have coming is a medium so im hoping it will fit dd3 as well as dd4, if it doesn't i shall have to buy a large from ebay so i can use my 10% voucher

4andnotout · 02/02/2009 22:35

so tempting

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 02/02/2009 22:57

hi all!

arrrrrgh, was trying to order some ittis, but the site won't load up....... never mind, will do tomorrow...

DD's been waking up twice every night for the last 3 nights, taking full feeds, so she's leaked through both BH + stacinator and Real Easy!!! when the nappies were, yes, wet, but not even dripping before! will have to get up to change her tonight... unless se sleeps through (wishful thinking....)

rusmum · 02/02/2009 23:07

i still in pampers at night for lack of cheap night nappies anywhere!!!!!!

lollipopmother · 03/02/2009 08:14

Sunflower - Elizabeth is exactly the same, I am starting to get the hump! Thankfully nowhere near wetting through her nappies though.

4andnotout - Don't go buying Blueberry wraps, I have some that I want to sell, they've only been used a couple of times (one of them hasn't even been tried on ) and they will be cheaper (obviously) than the new ones on there. . I have two choc with pink spots, one brand new, one worn twice, and one cow which has been worn three times.

4andnotout · 03/02/2009 08:44

Morning all
I dont change dd4 during the night when she feeds mainly because i always fall asleepa whilst she feeds and then wake up when she is sound asleep and put her back in the crib! DD3 is a superheavy wetter and has the hugest bum in the world at night time, she has a bumhugger with at least 1 trifold hemp booster and l airflow!

thebluefoxategreensocks · 03/02/2009 10:40

rusmum: there are some Bumbles on UKPL - with message titled "FSOT 15 Nappies & Wrap - Trade for Fluffles, Bebina, Leo,etc" - I think the person has 3, at 3 quid each. But you better act quick, or they might vanish!

cyteen · 03/02/2009 11:35

rusmum i'm happy to sell you my bumble too, can't see myself using it again. looking for £5 inc. postage, it's only been worn once - let me know if you want it

thebluefoxategreensocks · 03/02/2009 12:52

rusmum: I've got a Nature Babies Lovable Bamboo stuffable nappy (size 2, aplix fastening) that will be looking for a new home, if any use to you (or anyone else!). Has fairly sizable pocket, so might work as a night nappy if you put enough in the pocket and a fleece liner on top. Or of course, a very trim/slim nappy for daytime.

ilovemydogandMrObama · 03/02/2009 14:46

lollipop Finally got around to going to Babeco, and they have closed down . I asked if I could come around and look at stock and was told that it was already gone, packed up

Oh well.

Now, where can I get a colored Beehind?

thebluefoxategreensocks · 03/02/2009 15:09

ilovemydog: try putting a want up on the Yahoo Real Nappy group - I'd put one up there (before I decided against using BBH) and there were 2 people offering me some - I think one person had 2 pink & 2 purple, and another person had 2 orange. So you just might be able to get some from them.

4andnotout · 03/02/2009 17:31

how do you join the yahoo group?

lollipopmother · 03/02/2009 17:32

Ilovemydog - Oh that's a bummer, thanks for going. I wonder where they've gone because they're still trading I think.

I am now totally in love with Blueberry One Size, I love them more every time I use one (rarely as I only have two!), now on the look out for pre-loved ones but of course, having seen loads when not wanting one there are now none!

rusmum · 03/02/2009 19:37

apart from the nice fabrics i dont get AIO-pockets at all- they leak!!!!! wick!!!!!!!!

Have only tried couple (wonderoo, HH, nature babies, fleece pocket) and all leaked. Id love to love them as they look lovely but still nothing can beat 2 parter!

4andnotout · 03/02/2009 19:40

I havent had a leak with itti's,blueberry's, but i find my bg's need a booster. What were you stuffing them with?

ceb80 · 03/02/2009 19:52

4andnotout have replied on your airflow wrap thread

lollipopmother · 03/02/2009 21:51

No leaks from any of my pockets except for one Wonderoo which just doesn't fit, no idea why as it was brand new so leg elastic hadn't gone or anything.

lollipopmother · 03/02/2009 21:52

Has anyone heard from Swampster yet, I believe she was having a CS yesterday??

OP posts:
ilovemydogandMrObama · 04/02/2009 09:02

Don't they usually keep you in for a few days post c section?

There are 6 BBH's on used nappies, but someone has already bid £30.00 and the reserve price hasn't been met yet!

DP thinks this is a bit expensive for used nappies -- any thoughts?

lollipopmother · 04/02/2009 09:18

I'd say £7-£8 posted for a pre-loved BBH is reasonable, so they're about right atm.
