...get in the way of you when you are in the supermarket dragging around a pram, trolley and fiddly child and then they sneer down at you with their basket full of organic lettuce, baguettes and mini-tampons while your trolley is loaded with nappies, a giant pot of Sudocrem and enough chocolate bars to re-sink the Titanic.

You then have to manoever around them while they continue said sneering.

God you can tell what sort of evening I have had, can't you? And I am embarrassed to admit that I used to be one of those women. I apologise to all you mums out there unreservedly.

Now for chocolate bars and MN......

I'm very behind lol!

Yes, I'm paying for it now! I always used to wonder why pg women would wear such hideous smocks (including those sailor collar type dresses). Truth is, up until a few years ago, there was sod all available in terms of 'style' for pg women.

Amummi - just because you are okay about your (in)fertility issues, doesnt mean everyone else has to be. Every persons experience of infertility and IVF is different after all. That's a pretty blinkered and ignorant view tbh.

I also dont think nina was having a dig at women who were struggling to conceive or have children either. Rather more at those like www and I once were

Am going to bed now and am not going to be bothered to come back on mnet. This is just ridiculous, I would NEVER sneer at anybody that is infertile or had miscarriages, for christ's sake.

And I didn't, as you wrote in your post Aitch, sneer back at her.

Once again I am sorry if I offended anybody.

childfree is totally different imo, as it happens, oops. if someone doesn't want kids, that's miles away from the vast majority of women who either want them now or at some unspecified point in the future. it was imo a lazy, scattergun OP and not particularly amusing as i may have said. but then i don't like this crappy stereotyping of women as a rule. don't like all the PFB stuff on here either, find that just as irritating.

and ruby... nina said she's not a newbie btw, in her second post. she'd have no reason to change her name at all, getting in a bit of a ruck on MN is fuck-all reason to go into hiding.
