I thought it would be fun to share those little gems here.
Mine recently rubbed my pregnant belly and said, "Baby!" Then, without missing a beat touched my boob and exclaimed, "Booby!" 😵‍💫
And: while I was using the toilet came over to me, patted my leg and said, "Good job!" 👏

Got any to share? 😊

I just put Havoc in the bedroom and closed door for a nap and am sitting in the living room nursing baby. Bedroom door opens, Havoc walks out saying, "Sorry guys. Sorry guys." Sits on couch beside me, sighs and says, "So, I had a good sleep". 🤦‍♀️

Trying to get Havoc down for a nap is becoming more and more difficult...

How old is he?
DD is only 2.5 and dropped hers about a month ago.

Bignanna · 25/08/2024 21:57

When my son was small he sat on my mums lap, looked closely at her and said “Granny, you’re going to die soon!” Alarmed she said “Why,dear?” “Because you have lots of little lines all round your mouth” he said.
Granny lived for many more years!

SayDoWhatNow · 25/08/2024 22:08

Changing a nappy and DS grabs a clean wipe and shoves it in his mouth.

Me: DS are you thirsty? Do you want some water?
DS (totally nonchalant): No, I just eating a wipe.

Decided to lie down with Havoc to encourage the nap... was talking about places mummy wants to take Havoc for holiday. Mentioned one place and Havoc says, Oh, not there mummy. It's a gong-show. Just a gong-show! 😵‍💫

Havoc is now having a snack and I'm nursing baby who is falling asleep. 😇
Cuwins, close to 3. Naps/quiet time keep mummy sane. 💡

Thankfully! Othetwise I'd have been fairly freaked out! 😳

Just remembered an other that my oldest said when she was about 3.

I had to change my contact lenses and she went

Noooo mummy don't poke your eyes out!

I bought a lottery ticket and was checking the numbers after the draw when Havoc asked me if I'd won. I said, "No, mummy didn't win." Havoc replied, in a very sympathetic tone, "Oh, no... Oh, no." Thought for a minute, then brightly, "You'll have to try again, Mummy!" 😂

Oh, God... today Havoc repeated something I said earlier: I've got a "f'ing" headache, mummy. 😳

Oh no! I was hoping we had longer before they started copying those words...

Scirocco · 01/09/2024 06:45

Me to DC: Do you need the toilet?

DC (playing): Soon.

Me: OK, let's go to the toilet then.

DC: I busy. Mummy do for me.

My 2 year olds new phrase is "Are you serious?" haha

SayDoWhatNow · 01/09/2024 11:10

My DS hates his car seat. Last time I put him in it, he kept saying "No mummy! Don't tie me up Mummy!"

BluJanuary · 01/09/2024 11:32

My 2.5 year old often sounds like a little old man with his phrases. My sister looks after him for a few hours some weeks. My 11 Yr old Niece walks in to the room and he says 'it's good to see you again -name-'

I often tell him he's my lovely boy and he replies 'and you're my lovely girl'🥰 he's a little sweetheart, when he wants to be!😮‍💨 🤣

Coming home from holiday through Dover dd announced in a sad voice 'France closed today'. We emigrated 6 or 7 years later

@Crickets7 ... wth?

I mean might have been funny if they tried to impersonate the rice or something but it's not one for the anecdotes album 😂

Oh, @BluJanuary that's really cute. Mine says similar:
Hi Sweet Mummy. 🥰

Welcome new posters. 😊

Really confused why a post was deleted. Didn't see it, so don't know what it said, but can't imagine why someone would want to post something controversial on a nice thread like this one!

OP posts:
BluJanuary · 02/09/2024 06:48

@Mumtobabyhavoc it was a poster saying that what someone posted wasn't funny. Very mean! Just move on if you don't find it funny what the child said surely! This is such a heartwarming thread, no bullying needed.

Mumtobabyhavoc · 02/09/2024 06:59

Hi, everyone. Thanks for the explanation, Blu.
It should go without saying, but needs must:

This thread is meant as a friendly and supportive place to post all the cute/cute to you things your little ones say or do. IRL people might not have friends/family to share with for a myriad of reasons. If you're a GP, or your kids are grown and you want to post memories you are welcome. If you want to post something cute or amazing your bigger kid has said or done, you are welcome, too. 🩷

DON'T SHIT ON PEOPLE HERE.
If I have to say it again NO PUDDING!!!

😄

I'm struggling with replying to, "Because I don't want to, mummy." It's said so honestly that's it's sweet. 😂
