Hello90xx · 12/06/2023 14:59

Hi, sent off our forms Jan 25th, kept ringing to see if recieved and told they hadn't arrived yet but they'll keep checking. Finally admitted they were lost on Feb 28th. Got send new forms out and new scan date is March 9th, anyone around there had any new yet?

3Hearts1Beat · 12/06/2023 15:14

@Sunnyshine12121 Hi, I’d submitted for a renewal. Sent off on the 12th May, Scan date was 15th May, decision made on 8th June. My previous claim was due to end on 27th July.

But as @Minnie83 mentioned, it’s true that they are dealing with renewals before they run out or a little earlier. Hopefully you hear soon.

Sunnyshine12121 · 12/06/2023 15:48

@Minnie83 wow so dose that mean that it will stop or that they will do it befor they run out x it's very stressful isn't it @3Hearts1Beat that's good I would be happy if they did this for my son x can I ask you were you sent your into

Minnie83 · 12/06/2023 16:13

@Sunnyshine12121 I'm not sure what happens with payments if it runs out, I'm sure someone on here can answer that

Minnie83 · 12/06/2023 16:17

As far as I no I think old payments continue until new award is made

@Minnie83 o goodness I am in Essex all we can do is hope 🙏

Minnie83 · 12/06/2023 18:11

I would imagine ur with Wolverhampton then

3Hearts1Beat · 12/06/2023 18:47

@Sunnyshine12121 aww bless you, we’re all here to support each other so, glad to be of help 🙂… Honestly I completely agree with you, the DWP are just an absolute joke. They really do know how to make you feel some type of way, when all you’re trying to do is get what your child is rightfully entitled to.

I mean, you’ve done everything right and so I really wouldn’t worry hun. Even though the school didn’t get to complete their section on the Claim Form, you’ve got sufficient supporting evidence to justify everything that you’ve declared on your Claim. Also, don’t forget that, it’s not compulsory for that section to be completed. Furthermore, if they do need any additional information they’ll definitely make contact with yourself or the professionals that are involved with your Son. I mean, you already have the full support of the school so, that’s an added bonus right there!

Fingers crossed that you hear soon, keep us posted. 🙂

Minnie83 · 12/06/2023 18:51

In an ideal situation that's what is meant to happen but we all no it doesn't

Minnie83 · 12/06/2023 18:59
