My scan date is the exact same and I got a text today saying my claim was still being looked at. My son has an autism diagnosis, the wait is STRESSING me out!!

Them txt msgs are automatic at 6 weeks and 10 weeks apparently, what's your scan date

should I be worried I haven’t had a confirmation letter or any text messages. I did call and they received my sons application and said I had a scan date of the 23/3 but I still don’t have any letters/ messages

@vix1988 I wouldn't worry to much as long as you know they have it and your scan date, with you been 23/3 it will still be a while yet as they have only just started people in February.

Yeah I’m looking at July the earliest, they said 15 weeks to me

Yeah unfortunately the wait does seem to be long 😬 we all seem to get told different things tho so who knows how long we will actually be waiting 🤷

my scan date is the same, I had the same questions as I had no letter or text. I phoned them the other week as I was worried they had not received it ….. then got a letter the next day telling me my scan date- along with the letter telling me the rate had slightly increased.
Looks like we are in for quite a wait! X

Think I’ll call them and request a letter for piece of mind. Worried I haven’t got one. I’m hoping that after 15 weeks it will be a simple acceptance. I’ve sent off his diagnosis letter and a copy of his application from school for an EHCP. Fingers crossed but my word they take a long time!

I was told the msging service is temperamental, as I asked if I would receive a txt if my daughter has been awarded as I have read some do and some don't lol so who knows

@Minnie83 do we receive a text letting us know if awarded etc or do we have to ask for one?

I've had a letter of confirmation that the claim has been received 8th March and then I had a letter 5th May to say its taking longer than expected but they are looking into.

Can't see any mention of 'scan' dates on the letter, does this sound normal?

I got a text today saying he has qualified, literally 5 mins ago! Not sure how much, will have to wait for a letter. My scan date was 10th Feb x

@Minnie83 I rang today as I seen someone with scan date of 20/2 get awarded today but I got told still not with a decision maker 🙈 he said 13 weeks I said its been 13 weeks so he was like oh yeah he just said hopefully not much longer then, I thought that's really helpful not!🤣 I'm not starting to think they ain't going in order 🙈
