Hey @Juicytoot287 congrats on your engagement!! How did he do it? 💕

Happy new year everybody!

All good here. Ems is 11 weeks tomorrow and is making lots of cute sounds, reaching for stuff and really trying to flip but not quite. Finally gaining weight at a decent pace and now weighs almost 10lbs whoop. Find that poos have really slowed down and when they come it's always a poonami. But maybe a bit bunged up after vaccinations from the Calpol.

We have started going to bed much earlier. I will do bath time then boob then a bit of tummy massage. Also being giving Infacol before bed if she has trapped wind. Then DH brings up bottle of formula and hot water bottle to heat cot, then we take in turns to feed and the rock to sleep. So she gets down at 9 and seems to sleep until 3:30/4, then back in with me for boobing, then if we are lucky we get another 1-2 hours of her sleeping after that but I'm getting up around 5:30am just cause i seem to feel awake by then. No rhythm with day naps but maybe she will have 2/3 for about 30 mins in her cocoon or bassinet and a couple more on me.

In terms of activities, am using the play mat a lot more with lots of different toys and encouraging her to touch, also tummy time. Singing nursery rhymes to her. Talking her through food prep. Just putting her in the bouncer in front of tv. Going to a mums groups also. Going for a walk either her in the bassinet or carrier. She's generally chilled apart from the witching hour from about 6-7 which is a cue for me to start bedtime routine.

I am glad I am getting a bit more space now she's in the cot most the night, bed sharing is a bit nerve wracking and uncomfortable. We also finally set up the cot so it is level with the bed and that made a big difference. I find having a bit of warmth helps too, so have setup a heater on a timer every hour for 15 mins as our room is v cold.

Other than that I am attempting to lose 5st in preparation for my wedding in July. I have put on so much in late stages of pregnancy and since I have been breastfeeding as I was just so hungry at first but I am better now. So yes adding dieting and exercising into the mix feels a little daunting but so far so good. Xx

@Juicytoot287 21 October bday? Mine is an Emerald, is yours Emmy?

Yes not really grabbing yet, more like fondling, and will touch the bottle nipple when I give it to her. She can't flip yet but seems to want to.

Here's a pic of my princess 👸🏼 x
