She's taken an overdose. And it's my fault, I left my medication where she could find it. Shit, shit, shit.

Im so sorry to read this. Please dont blame yourself, as others said, its not your fault and if she had made that choice, she would do it by any means she could - at least you were there to get her to A&E as quickly as possible, and to know what she had taken rather than having no clue nor being able to intervene
Resus is scary. Ive been there with my daughter, but she is in the safest place for it, she was already being assessed, and the first few hours are the important ones

My dd 17 is also in hospital after another OD
It's so hard as parents not to blame ourselves but it's easier said than done.
Happy to handhold, I know exactly what you're going through
