And where do you live? Looking for a nursery for my to-be 11 month old in the suburbs of London and not really sure of the going rate. Thanks 😊

£95 a day for that age in Zone 2 west London. Down to £86 once ratios go down as they get a bit older. Includes all food, sun cream and nappies etc. Open 7:30am to 6:30pm.

mindutopia · 26/01/2021 15:18

£49 a day, which includes a hot lunch, snacks, milk/water, though we supply nappies and wipes. We're in the SW. It's a lovely place with beautiful facilities, forest school, two large gardens, but small setting in terms of numbers and not a big commercial one, which is why I think they can keep their costs down.

Dinosauraddict · 26/01/2021 15:24

£61 not inc nappies or wipes. He'll be moving to a private pre-prep later this year, and that's about £65 but includes nappies and wipes.

Wowsers 👀 I pay 26.50 8am til 6pm here in North Wales, but a friends child is in a different nursery which is 40 for the day. Some of these prices are huge!

cheesebubble · 26/01/2021 15:50

£60 at the childminders - I prefer a smaller/home setting x

cheesebubble · 26/01/2021 15:51

Forgot to say I'm in Greenwich!

Nellie850 · 26/01/2021 15:53

My child isn’t at nursery yet but we’ve enquired at a few and average is £48 with hot lunch, we’re central Scotland. —sharp intake of breath at London prices—

Mamagotskills · 26/01/2021 15:57

Just under £50, Scotland

johnd2 · 26/01/2021 16:50

Zone 4, 7 pounds an hour child minder. North East London. So 56 pounds a day.
Obviously money is an issue but generally you want to look at the quality of care and teaching, as it can vary.

Ihaveoflate · 26/01/2021 19:15

I think £48 which includes everything apart from nappies

West Yorkshire

YorkshireIndie · 26/01/2021 19:40

£54 a day which includes as meals, nappies and wipes. They also supply the wellies and overalls for outside play. We are in North Yorkshire. I love my nursery

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 26/01/2021 19:42

£70 Bromley- there’s a discount for full timers

MondeoFan · 26/01/2021 19:44

£55 Essex

MBM18 · 26/01/2021 19:46

£80 for a full day (12 hours, even though DD only goes for 8-9 hours) in Kent. This includes 3 meals, nappies and wipes, they also provide sippy cups too.

warriorwomanx · 26/01/2021 19:49

Was going to post this question myself! Wish we lived in Yorkshire 😂

CheerioHenny · 26/01/2021 19:57

£93 per day in South West London suburb - it includes breakfast, lunch and ‘tea’ plus two snacks but we must provide our own nappies. That was competitively priced for the area too...

Brunt0n · 26/01/2021 20:00

£71 a day in Berkshire
All food and nappies provided and they’re open 7.30-6.30 (although DD doesn’t go for that long, we liked that it is an option if we get held up at work etc)
It’s a private day nursery, rated Outstanding. We love it, they’re worth every penny!
Don’t forget to look into tax free childcare, if both parents are working (but earn less than 100k) - it saves us 20% on our fees, well worth doing!
