I need some motivation ................. waaayyyy too much work to do, please help me!

Ok I have to hand in 6000 words of my dissertation by 31st October.

So far I have done er ...nothing!! I have downloaded most of the articles I need but havent even scanned through them yet to start writing.

I need to do about 2000 words a week for the next 3 weeks to get this in

Please help i just keep spending time on here and facebook and doing nothing

Ok I am at 3246. I aim to be at 3700 by the end of the day.

So I am pretty much on target so far and its flowing well

3821 and am finishing for the day

am over the moon have eaten into tomorrows word count too.

Same time tomorrow then, aiiming for another 1000 words or maybe even getting to 5000

Now that's better! You can do the 5,000 you know you can. I won't accept anything less.

When you get to 5,000 I'll smile at you!

I won't be aroung for 10 days because I am away to Malawi this afternoon on a teaching course for chidbirth. Willcheck in when i get becak.

As I said before Mars, ths thread really helped me. Thanks everyone. Back on the 4th, ethics committee on the 6th (brought forward a day. If successful i will be stressing about 20 000 words.

no you cannot.

No reason at all why they cant accomodate you as a student to fit in with your family (lots of other students do it). And when you qualify you can get a nice job in endoscopy 9-5
