I need some motivation ................. waaayyyy too much work to do, please help me!

Ok I have to hand in 6000 words of my dissertation by 31st October.

So far I have done er ...nothing!! I have downloaded most of the articles I need but havent even scanned through them yet to start writing.

I need to do about 2000 words a week for the next 3 weeks to get this in

Please help i just keep spending time on here and facebook and doing nothing

I spent the afternoon in the library clarifying my questionnaire approach.

Will start a new thread on this but how can I ensure my postal questionnaire will be classed as research and not look like audit?

Well I limited myself to one small glass of wine and battered away at the computer till 3am this morning. Work is all done to progress to Ethics committee - awaiting a response to see if it actually needs to go there or somewhere else!

Finished my assignment this evening.

Won't be back on here until Mid Dec!

I am finished to the extent that i have completed my research proposal and associated papaerwork for submission to the ethics committee. Anyone completed a COREC form before? It is 55 pages of misery.

Anyway, the fun will start if it is approved. I will then need to do research and write 20,000 words.

Meeting is on 7th November to see if I have approval. I have had a real mental block getting this far. Am really pleased and this thread has helped. many thanks mars et al

Ok Mars I need some serious ass-whipping!!! I did nothing on Sunday

So I have set aside the next 3 days to work, I aim to do 1000 words a day and that will mean it is finished by Friday and I can enjoy the weekend before tarting it up a bit before hand in on wednesday.

Please dissuade me from using MN/facebook/email tomorrow ....I NEED TO GET THIS BLOODY THING FINISHED
