My colleagues are wearing animal costumes today.

My junior male colleague has gone into his other job for his last shift, hopefully he will return with takeaway food later.

AppleKatie · 21/03/2020 16:59

My colleague has snuck into my bed with his tablet and I’m pretending I haven’t noticed for the peace and quiet 🤫😳

Xiaoxiong · 21/03/2020 17:13

My old office used to have a drinks trolley at 5pm on a Friday. I've decided to start the same tradition here for team-building with my co-CEO.

Cost centres 1 and 2 (I refuse to call them colleagues any longer after their seriously unprofessional behaviour earlier) have each had verbal warnings, we skipped the written warning and went straight to a disciplinary. Performance management starts tomorrow morning, possibly involving Lego incentives.

Xiaoxiong I think that's worth putting in a book! Grin

My two male colleagues have just been caught trying to get into the full bin bag which my co-manager had left by the office entrance. An enquiry is pending but if, as I suspect, the younger one was the ringleader there may be Dreamies-related sanctions.

mummmy2017 · 21/03/2020 17:32

My friends colleague has been reported to HR for sexual harassment, she tried to bed her MD

Parky04 · 21/03/2020 17:37

Colleague 1 in room playing computer and colleague 2 in room playing computer. To be fair to colleague 2 his mates asked him out to play footy but he declined as that would be irresponsible in the current climate.

MaidenMotherCrone · 21/03/2020 17:37

My colleague had explosive diarrhoea in the utility room.... up the walls (not tiled 🤮),

Other colleague decided he'd climb onto the raised bed and crap whilst staring me in the eye as I shouted at him through the kitchen window. Defiant defecation!

Wetcarparkrain · 21/03/2020 17:42

My colleague is sobbing on the loft extension stairs because I said I wanted to have a little rest away from everyone. Now she is singing a song and bringing books to read in bed beside me.

TheMemoryLingers · 21/03/2020 17:47

Just broken up a fight between my two younger colleagues - scrapping over possession of the staircase as usual. Female colleague has gone to lie on co-manager's bed.

Mesmeri · 21/03/2020 18:46

Finally managed to remove the animal costumes. Colleagues 1 and 4 are in the bath to together. Colleagues 2 and 3 are in pyjamas. 2 is vacuuming and 3 is upstairs, worryingly quiet.

Colleague 1 has had a bath and is in his pyjamas in bed being read a story by DH.
Colleague 2 had a crying tantrum because she was so tired and did not want 'a baff'. She is in bed fast asleep.
Colleague 3 is sitting on my knee having his bottle and dozing off.
Colleague 4 is lying on the back of the sofa on her back with her belly on display.
Colleague 5 has just had a bowl of food and is now tatting the back of the armchair.

HerRoyalNotness · 21/03/2020 19:33

My colleague is feeling much happier now she has found her stethoscope and has her shoes tied the same on both feet

emojisarentwords · 21/03/2020 19:44

Having a great laugh imagining my actual colleagues doing some of these things

LuluJakey1 · 21/03/2020 19:56

Colleagues 4 and 5 have just had a fight - hissing and rolling and chasing - because Colleague 5 wants to play after his tea and nap and Colleague 4 wants to nap. Colleague 5 has been put in the garden for a while to work off his excess energy.
Colleague 3 is now also in bed.
DH and I are having a glass of wine.

MarthasGinYard · 21/03/2020 20:00

I've finally caved in today and allowed my only colleague their own phone.

They are now strutting around all confident organising the schedule of events....

MarthasGinYard · 21/03/2020 20:04

Loving the '5pm drinks trolley'Grin

Will be making sure my colleague takes it steady and doesn't SPILL A DROP

MrsDoylesTeaBags · 21/03/2020 20:21

This thread is brilliant, our junior executive returned to H/O from his satellite office last night with more laundry that I remember him taking after the Christmas break.

Hes mainly been wandering around in his pants, inspecting the fridge and providing entertainment by playing his music really loud which co manager and I appreciate greatly Hmm

It's great to have back at head office though

MarthasGinYard · 21/03/2020 20:51

My Colleague has requested 'her people' contact 'my people' to make sure there are pancakes for breakfast

TheMemoryLingers · 21/03/2020 20:59

Young male colleague just followed me in the loo to rub himself against my legs while I did my business. Female colleague has just jumped between the sofas and is parading behind my head. Elderly male colleague hanging round outside the kitchen as usual.

lilmishap · 21/03/2020 21:02

I had to seperate my colleagues today after a fight broke out, I dealt with it by eating both halves and reminding them I'm not obligated to provide cookies just food.

Weenurse · 21/03/2020 21:38

Colleague 1 is off site at other job (works in hospital kitchen part time).
Colleague 2 in bed and co CEO also in bed.
Office junior is sitting with me curled up sleeping as well.
Very quiet in the office so far.

ChippyMinton · 21/03/2020 22:52

After an office cricket match earlier, two colleagues have retired to their private offices on the executive floor, whilst the third is watching Netflix doing overtime.

The MD has morphed into the handyman and has fixed a door which has been stuck in the open position for about 5 years. So he can get some peace!

Anydreamwilldo12 · 22/03/2020 09:02

Love this thread
Decided my colleagues and I needed some fresh air this morning before commencing the days work. Office junior who is always a bit wayward and therefore hasn't yet been promoted, found a big muddy patch and happily plodded and pranced through it all. She refused to wear shoes for our walk so her feet and halfway up her legs were full of clarts.
She then somehow got a lump of actual poo on her back.
On our return to the office I have had to give her a bath in the office kitchen sink. I had to use the kitchen hand towel to dry her off. The other two colleagues are still hiding under an office desk. I think they are afraid in case I bath them too.
