So Ive finally found some others in the same boat!

My interview with Brighton uni is in December so Im revising my arse off, I haven't written an essay for 5 years!

Mine was Francis. It had absolutely no effect or anything of getting in. I may as well of researched my left foot for two months.

When they say look at the 6 C's spend your time there, mike I screwed up by researching further, please dont make my mistake.

Yes I was, there was only two answers I couldn't attempt and that was one of them.
I couldn't get my head round it in practice for love nor money.

I'm doing access to nursing - did all my ucas etc before Christmas and I'm still waiting for replies. I applied to 3 all in Wales and I'm sooooooo nervous! One person on my course has an interview at Swansea so far, 2 have declines from usw and 1 has an interview at uwe

How long did it take til you got any answers at all?

Took me about 2 weeks to hear from brighton with a interview date, and 4 weeks from Sussex who declined me

I have given up now as realised ill never be able to afford childcare. Hopefully I can defer for a year until my eldest starts school. Who knew childcare for 2 kids was so bloody expensive. (Naive me). Still gonna go on Friday but not as enthusiastic as I was.

Same here. You'll be great I'm sure you sound like you ha e everything covered. Reminds me again, what type of nursing are you applying for?

I can get NHS grant and minimum student loan but childcare for both of mine is £330 a week. That's the cheapest I can see it for. I was thinking it would be more like £250. No family nearby either, DH would help a lot but he's a head chef so works a lot but it's flexible. We'd just need the childcare in place though. I'd need to see a timetable to see if it's doable or defer for a year.

Anyway, heaps of good luck to you for tomorrow.

I don't think you can prepare mentally for it, you just have to try and be yourself.

Thanks Mike. Seemed to go okay. One lady was really receptive and seemed happy with my answers and the other was very straight faced throughout, so who knows. I'll hear in two weeks.
