Yay....Angel, nice to hear from you, I saw your thread the other week(sorry I didn't post on it at the time) about you and your DH, I hope things are back on track for you both, it sounds like it which it excellent news. James has a Bumbo seat too and his little arms and legs go mad with excitment when he's in it, it's so cute.

Ailsa, to be fair on the young man he only wakes once and the whole process of getting the bottle from the kitchen, warming it up and feeding him only takes 20 minutes max and we're both asleep again so it's not really too bad. Amazingly last night he went to bed at 7-ish and I gave him a bottle at 10:30 and he then didn't wake until 5:10am, usually it's about 3am so maybe he's been reading our sept baby thread and feels bad

Hi Girls

Sounds like everyone is doing well

Harvey has outgrown his bumbo now (big chunky thighs) and is sitting up totally now - he loves it and will happily enetertain himself for ages with toys in front of him.

He is well settled at nursery and seems to love it - I still hate leaving him though

Can everyone give me a run down on their babes eating habits pleaseee?

Bekki · 29/03/2004 22:38

hello!
I'm glad to see everyones doing well. I've pretty much left this site but I can't leave the sept babies. I have a lot of good memories from this thread.
If anyone wants to keep in contact through e-mail

I'll be glad to hear from you all.

Alexander has found his voice, his appetite and his teeth all in one week so its been a bit hectic.
He has only just started solids and he is more accepting of them now although he looks like we are trying to poison him with every mouthful.
Rolling well hes getting there he's desperate to catch his big brother.
And his brother is becoming the big brother I'd hoped he'd be, hes really settling into his role and the adjustment now.
Still bf to our mutual happiness but we have to stop the biteing as its becoming too painful at the moment.
Oh very tired I must sleep, ds1 has taken getting up at 5 in the morning....

Glad to hear everything is relatively calm with the Sept babes. J has turned into a total pickle now he's hit 6 months - I think he's fustrated as he can't roll etc. Still gives gorgeous smiles just after he's screamed at me though!

Eating habits are bottle at 7am, breakfast at 8am, another bottle at 11, lunch at 12, bottle at 2, tea at 4, bedtime bottle at 5.30. All times are very approximate, depends on how the day is going. He gets water from a beaker with his meals.

Thought I might bump this one up as we haven't had any up dates for AGES.

Nothing new to add about James on the sleeping and eating front. still waking for a feed and refusing home cooked food.
Being referred to the peadiatian(sp?) because his weight is only going up by a few ounces every fortnight and he's dropped 3 centiles. However in the 2 weeks from being referred and getting the letter giving appiontment date he put on a whole pound, typical really. Back to the few ounces though after that so will keep the appointment to get him checked over.
He hates lying down now and must have stomach muscles to die for as he'll sit up from lying pretty much flat. He loves getting around in his walker and if he's in the garden in it then it's like I've given him the baby equivilent of the crown jewels, bless him.

No teeth yet and really suffering with it too. He's not a particulary happy baby anyway so to add teething pain to his day is really crap.

Have had a PND encounter, feel like a black cloud is following me around making me miserable. Thanks to MN I recognised the signs and have been tackling it with good results, most days the cloud is just grey now, which is a relief.

That's me done, come on ladies we're very quiet on our sept thread.

Ailsa · 06/05/2004 23:22

Jenny got her first tooth about 3 weeks ago, can't leave her anywhere, whether she's on her back or her belly she'll get around. Don't think it will be too long before she's crawling though. She can get her knees up under her bum, or, push her head and shoulders up, but she can't get her fat belly of the floor.

Always smiling, laughs at her dad everytime she looks at him. Loves the camera, looks straight into the lens and smiles.

Still has huge appetite, still sleeps and is still adored by her brother and sister.

Bekki · 22/05/2004 00:33

Hi everyone! Nostalga proves to strong.
Are you still having him weighed Emma? We had Alex weighed for his 8 month check and she suggested that he needed more solids to fatten him up.
Alex has 4 teeth and two more on the way! Wow they are impressive! I look at them admiringly, every one else looks at them with a look of worry at his rabbit teeth People worry too much imo.
He is just starting to crawl now and he is such a pleasent, easy going baby, he hasn't changed much since his birth apart from sleeping. He follows his brother everywhere and copies everything he does including sleeping patterns, he only sleeps at night.
Oh and he can wave! He waves all of the time now its great!
Hows everyone else getting on at the moment with their babes?

Bekki · 22/05/2004 00:33

oops sp!

Beccarollover · 24/05/2004 08:08

Hi all

Had Harvey weighed last week - he is 22.5lbs.

He is doing really well - crawling all over the place now, clapping his hands, starting to wave - so cute.

He has just cut his 3rd tooth with more on the way as the cheeks are red and he is dribbling for England.

After a rocky patch with sleeping he is back to 11-12 hours although has turned into a little early riser!

He is having 3 bottle feeds a day and 3 good meals - he loves his food bless him

Hope everyone else is well!
