Not doing anything. Will go to bed now and try to finish Far From the Madding Crowd.

Then I have Germinal to reread.

Loads of critics.

So I'm in exactly the same place as last time.

Strangely it seems to me that I have loads of time left

I actually have no work to do, have 2 proposals to hand in monday morning so I'm not starting any work on them until they are in and agreed.
Well, I do have 3 lessons to plan and a rpesentation, but they don't count, surely...

I do need to organise my filing though, all my notes need sorting. ugh.

But, Proles, there's a grace period til midnight-you don't need extension for that.

DD refused to be put in her cot for her nap and was instead bf for 2 hrs.. She's just turned 2, fgs. Arghh.

Have 200 pages to read-have to finish tonight. Then quick look through Germinal and critics tomorrw and then essay writing on Monday.

I just sat down with a cup of tea for 5 minutes of MN.

FFTMC is quite an easy read, but with a toddler running about... And Hardy is getting on my nerves with his ptronizing and putting down womenfolk on every other page.

Thanks WSP Thankfully I've read Germinal quite a few times in the past, so it'll be more of looking for the quotes etc.

DD didn't go to bed til late and then my father called me and talked and talked and talked...so didn't get much done.

I'm off to bed with bloody Hardy (instead of DP, which was the original idea if I had finished FFTMC).

I've just sent an email to my tutor asking for an extension. Last time I asked him to not give me any as it just makes me procrastinate more...he promised to be ruthless.

We'll see.

Instead of reading I've been occupying myself with playing Scrabble on DP's Iphone. I got one 158-point word!!! Yay
