meeeeeeeeeh hello ive c+p from my thred

im in the final year of my ba hons with a 10 week old, 4 yr old... DP out of the house 10 hrs of the day and im not doing any work im just so tired

sounds like you have your work cut for you onlywantsone. I got some work done last night after dd was in bed I had a quick tidyn up and had a bath and got going.

sometimes something has to give, its been my cleaning and washing the past 2 days.

Not only am I FINISHED (wwoooooooooooooohoooooooooo, slightly over at 1250ish but includes ref's/quotes...)with my essay due friday, but I loaded the dishwasher too. I might even wipe down the kitchen later if I can be arsed but I now have to prepare questions for my next assignment to discuss them tomorrow

COme on everyone, such a nice feeling when it's done, you all know it (although I have now saved it on a pc, laptop, 3 memory sticks and dropbox to make sure it doesn't go 'poof' in the night.[paranoid])

So do any of you have some good ideas / suggestions how I'm going to get the motivation to do any work and get the following done

1 x Crucible America in the 1950s essay 3,000 words
1 x 2 nd Americain 1950s essay (not chosen question) 1,500 words
2 x post colonial essays 3,000 words each

And that's just last terms work

This term I have two more modules plus my dissertation. Bugger.

What course are you doing?

That is not what I wanted to hear!

English degree, lecture 3 days a week but my friends are using my dictaphone and getting hand outs so going in once a week.

right only. Get them in order of what needs to be done first. And if you can't decide, alphabetical.
This is what I do if it helps.
Have the books for each one out and a clean piece of paper for each book and go through and note down anything and everything that looks interesting with page numbers.
Then write the notes into separate paragraphs and print it.
Red pen it and write linking sentences/move stuff around.

Does anhyone else have massive issues dealing with words on a screen, I have to keep printing off to edit. Thought I was done earlier, printied it off and I had repeated an entire fecking paragraph!

What are your deadlines?

Breaking it down into bitesize chunks is the way forward. And if you're only having to go in once a week at least your time is more your own.

Which one are you most resistant to starting? If you got the worst one out of the way first would that help?
