I was cutting it fine but thought I'd be OK to get my TMA done...
...but my own procrastination has bitten me on the arse.
Had I not left it until the last minute, it wouldn't have been so devastatingly disastrous that me and poor DS both got a D&V bug yesterday, meaning no nursery for DS yesterday, today and tomorrow, and no child free writing time for me (even if I could write much between trips to the loo). Plus DH is away so no "cavalry" moment in the wings either.
Aaargh.
So, this substitution thing, am I right in thinking that even if I hand in a TMA that scores say, 20-30 marks lower than usual, as long as that is a one off and thus my lowest mark, it will be bumped up to an average of my marks for all 6 TMAs including the low scoring one? And this is why it's better to hand in something, anything, even a rough draft if need be, because if I don't submit the zero score is included in the substitution average?
I tried the 15 min bursts thing mentioned on last months thread - it's surprisingly effective.
