Oh. my. dear. lord. Stop it!! Grin

I just got very sad as i sorted out all my beautifull coloured furry itti's, have put the last lot in the wash so that i can photograph them tomorrow and list them for sale, will be trying for £8 all in for perfect ones and £5 all in for scrunchier ones, someone on CNT is selling them at £10 all in and still has people queueing up for them! Will have to buy ome more print easyfits though as i will only have about 10 day nappies Shock Bit of a contrast to this time last year when i had over 100!

Trying4Baby1 · 13/08/2010 22:48

Hiya all, just been reading all the posts on this thread. Kind of new to all this as DD1 only 14wks. We've been using cloth nappies exclusively for about 6 weeks now. Well not entirely exclusively as we still use disposables at night as she is an extremely heavy wetter. Mainly using fitteds LLs and lollipop bamboo although I have a couple of pockets now too.

4andnotout what are ittis like? I might be interested in a few if you think they might be suitable for DD. She's very long and slim but an extremely heavy wetter. We usually have to change her nappies every couple of hours.

Most of my nappies are very boring and I'd love some pretty ones. Grin

Hello and welcome to our fluffy thread Grin Generally i wouldn't recommend itti's for heavy wetters, my dd4 is a very light wetter so has been fine in them but dd3 could out wee one in 3 hours. However if you can get one cheaply it's worth a try, cloth nappies are very much trial and error, what worked for my 3rd baby didnt necessarily work for my fourth ( and poor daughters one and two were in terry squares and nippas until they toilet trained as i didnt know about shaped nappies! Shock )

Trying4Baby1 · 13/08/2010 23:09

I quite like my fitteds especially the lollipop but it is kind of annoying having to change her every couple of hours. I have a couple of pockets with bluberry inserts and they seem to last longer. Don't really know a lot about cloth so just trying to figure things out. She's very long for her age/weight too so I've had a few near leaks with a couple of pockets. Where were you going to be listing your nappies as would definately be interested in a couple to see how we get on.

4andnotout · 13/08/2010 23:23

Yes they are on the for sale board and I have a post in Clothnappytree where I'm oliviaelanasmum, so far I have had interest in yellow, jade, and mint so still lots left :)

Trying4Baby1 · 13/08/2010 23:35

Ok cool, just had a nose on cloth nappy tree (and then had to look up a site that sells them to see what colours you get Blush). Do you have fushia, lavender or purple? Should I be asking you this on the sale board instead of here?

Trying4Baby1 · 14/08/2010 00:01

Going to bed now but will try and get on tomorrow. If you do have those colours could you please keep them for me Smile, I'd really appreciate it, thank you.

4andnotout · 14/08/2010 09:00

Yes I have all 3 of those colours :) you can email me directly [email protected] and we can talk more then without MN getting the hump Wink Grin

4andnotout · 14/08/2010 20:30

Where is everybody?

mumface · 14/08/2010 20:43

4andnotout · 14/08/2010 20:47

Yay! Im not alone anymore Grin

I realised today that dd4 needs her easyfits poppered down and they fit so much better on the legs its amazing! Even poppered they have a much higher rise than the itti's and no wingdroop Grin I'm in love Grin

mumface · 14/08/2010 20:51

I tried Connors today poppered down and the fit was better around leg but the velcro digs in his tummy with it that low.
There's a new nappy forum btw with a new buy/sell/swap section CNF

4andnotout · 14/08/2010 21:09

Tried to register there but everytime i enter the code it says its incorrect Hmm

Trying4Baby1 · 14/08/2010 21:25

Hiya everyone, just a quick post to say I've just sent you an email 4andnotout

mumface · 14/08/2010 21:25

I got the code wrong first time!
Took my bee out today. Bloody nappy leaked over new pushchair seat. It was a v1 easyfit. boo.

OP posts:
4andnotout · 14/08/2010 21:29

Is that the Bee+? Whats it like? Mine should be here tuesday yay!!

mumface · 14/08/2010 21:39

Have tried the bee (just around house, going back 2morrow) and Bee+ round town 2day. I LOVE it.
I actually preferred the shape of the seat and big hood on the original bee, they both feel the same to push- it floats along haha Grin
It's not a hugely bigger seat, just minus the wing bits really. If you were to put a newborn in the wings make it really cosy.

4andnotout · 14/08/2010 21:42

I just need a newborn

CharlottesClan · 14/08/2010 23:26

id love a bee, but we're gonna need a double :(

4andnotout · 15/08/2010 10:52

I still have my phil&teds for days when dd3 is knackered after preschool or when it's snowing etc :)

Only have 4 itti's left to sell, dp just shocked me and told mento put the cash towards a frog so that can be my walking pram :)

I haven't had a period in months but am waiting for my jab to wear off.

CharlottesClan · 15/08/2010 16:16

ooh lucky girl 4! dh wont entertain having more then one pram at a time, but ive already told him the sola is going no where because i adore that pram and if dc4 is a girl im buying a purple seat unit for it :o

no period here, george has stepped up the bfing again, so i suspect its affecting my fertility!

got rid of most of my medium stuff, and had loads of larges come this week, so we're pretty set for nappies. (cept when i need smalls for the next one Wink)
