lol 4, sounds delightful

natty; nope; she had quite a lot of it. shop here

DD used to go for about four or five days between explosions when she was little. Nasty nasty nasty...I'm glad it only lasted a couple of months.

4, it's DD4 getting checked out isn't it? I would def ask for a test for coeliac disease. Without going into TMI, that kind of sums up how my bottom reacts to unwanted gluten, although I manage to avoid windowsills Wink

4andnotout · 08/08/2010 22:15

Yep it's dd4 being checked for it, deep down I wouldn't be surprised if she has it, but I'm praying she doesn't have it, I know its only a diet change but I'm worried how it would affect her fitting in at school with dinners and going to friends for tea :( Stupid really as she isn't even 2 yet!

LacksDaisies · 09/08/2010 15:35

It's so much easier to deal with these days 4, there are some nice breads out there and you can get pizza bases, chicken nuggets, fish fingers, sausages etc that are all gluten free. No more KFC though Wink. Also I think parents are pretty clued up these days; I know quite a few parents whose kids have dietary issues.

Trying out a disposable flip insert today in preparation for our hols.....so far so good and we are two hours in!

Oooo Lacks I did wonder if those would be any good.

I'm trying to stay away from CNT and spending anymore money on nappies. I really don't think it's going to work though.

CharlottesClan · 09/08/2010 20:00

hermya i find myself browsing most of the day Blush

been on the lookout for longies but alas none to be seen (within reasonable prices)

thanks for the link daisy. their 50g skien arnt they?

LacksDaisies · 09/08/2010 21:10

yup CC, 50g. I did a pair for bumble last winter so a med/large and it took 3 skeins.

impressed with the flip inserts. Changed bumble after four hours and although it was sodden there had been no leakage. I think it was on the verge of wicking though, and I couldn't reuse the wrap as the leg bindings were pretty wet. three hours would have been better, but I had another child crisis with DS1 riding his bike into the concrete post at the end of our drive, smashing his head (which is almost but not quite split open) and ramming the bike seat into his groin so poor bumble got ignored.

What is it with my children these last couple of weeks; we have had a cut foot and a chipped tooth/bitten lip for DD, a tumble down stone steps and mashed finger for bumble, and now DS1. Still at least they have got it all over with befiore our hols on Saturday

Off to Norfolk for two whole weeks...can't wait!

4andnotout · 09/08/2010 21:42

Lacks I live in Norfolk!!!!

I only have dd4 at home tonight, the others decided to go home with my mum and f'sis from the beach, will pick them up in the morning en route to Pleasurewood Hills.

Dd4 was so tired after her bath she staggered about, fell over her Minnie mouse and bashed her face on the radiator :( she is asleep on next to me on the sofa so that I can keep an eye on her!

Oh and on a positive note we haven't had any poo explosions today!

treedelivery · 09/08/2010 23:14

Oh poor ds1! Youch!

Good about the flip - I never liked the look of them, but that sounds good. 'm crap at reusing wraps and Itti shells etc. I know you should, but I never do! I always wash the lot which is very silly.

Poor dd4 too, 4!

That wool is a bargain! Go Go Charlottes Clan!

mumface · 10/08/2010 09:20

Connor is walking! Properly today, yesterday was to and fro furniture. Sooo cute, little stumpy legs in cute fluff, I could watch him all day!! (and will be)

QueenofDreams · 10/08/2010 14:58

daisy thank you Smile Sorry to hear about your DC's woes though!

Those bitti boos look rather lovely. A bit pointless atm as we have DS in dispos at night. His skin just can't cope with cloth on overnight.

I've seen a bugaboo bee on ebay - currently going for £122 including extras! Wish I had £122. I have a crappo M&P pico that was given to us second hand. Wish I could replace it.

Hey everyone! Aww, cute Bitti Boos Smile although not sure I can be bothered with more fitteds.

Daisy, hope Bumble is on the mend soon. The wool looks cute and is a bargain!

Have got some longies on their way soon from here They are for dt2, I bought dt1 some just the same but pink from the SMS auctions these

Have also paid for my skirty. I am quite excited Grin

Mumface, hope the bee is great and well done to Connor too!

4andnotout · 10/08/2010 22:05

The reason for dd4's squitty bum has been revealed!!! 2 pearly White canine teeth have sprouted!!!

And on that boring note I shall hit the pit and catch up tomorrow! :)

CharlottesClan · 10/08/2010 22:22

oh my gosh bitti boos as well now! i wish i had a plastic friend!

aww mumface :) walking already! i love watching george toddle about. hes been doing it a couple of weeks now but it still amazes me. cant wait to get him into longies again. while he was crawling he was wrecking everything in the knees :(

oh dear for 4s dd4 and daisys ds1! accidents abound!

mumface · 11/08/2010 10:04

Bugaboo bee 2009 going back Blush.... to be replaced with bee plus. Steph you were right, the seat is small. I thought it would be ok as I don't have massive kids but the seat wings really annoyed me, Lewis didn't fit in it and Connor will need to be in it til over 3 years old as such a long way to school.
I feel a right muppet, 2nd pushchair in a week to go back. But I had to make a quick decision before the discount code ran out and for an extra £90 I thought the extra use was worth it. I now have to amend an order for a custom snunkie in traffic jam (matches my wetbag Grin ) and purple starlings
XH said he will return pram to shop save me £10 pick up fee.

OP posts:
4andnotout · 11/08/2010 10:49

Eek I'm getting an original bee with thin wings for dd4, she is really tiny though and in 9-12 clothes so fingers crossed she will fit! Is only £175 though and would have to wait for a plus until October.

mumface · 11/08/2010 11:12

I think she will be fine in it 4. Connor fits in it fine he is 23lb and 14 months old. I am just thinking long term. It's not too small for him, I was up til gone midnight deciding. I think you have got a good deal there and mine won't be used for a newborn as I am not having any more.
I will also save as I won't have to buy another footmuff now as my cam one fits the bee plus but not the bee. They are £90 alone. I was looking at the 2009 reduced footmuffs and they have sold out except for yellow. What colour is your bee 4?
Oh yes also you can remove the wings on the 2009 apparently they are just sewn onto the main chassis, I saw one on fb page that had been done and it looks just like a 2010 model.
Oh dear does this mean I am a pram hun now? Grin

OP posts:
steph1512 · 11/08/2010 19:39

4 if dd is tiny im sure she will be fine..my dd2 is quite chunky and she fit but the plus was more adjustable and long term better for her if ihad decided to get one!

I have also heard of people getting rid of the wings on the origianl bee.

Is it 2nd hand or new??

My liner arrived today..thanks mumface..looks fab.

I got a transport one..its pale blue oneside with little aeroplanes ,cars etc and brown on the otherside..really like it and its looks like it will fit my cam Grin

bagpuss · 11/08/2010 20:46

Haha, Mumface, pram hun indeed - no you will always be a nappy ho I fear Grin.

4 - good news about dd4 and her teeth, glad it was nothing more serious.

I have a dead itti AIO, it is purple and I like it Sad. I need to return I think. Also my bambootys are leaking. They were fine before last week but I fear dt1 may have slimmed down since she started commando crawling and now I get awful wing droop.

myjob, what plans have you made for dd's birthday? She can't nearly be two! Let us know how you get on with the boo. What colour did you get?

mumface · 11/08/2010 21:02

Nappy ho it is then! Grin

I am having problems returning an Itti, bought from the babyshow from greenbaby/itti stand. Green baby said as I don't have a customer file on their system it's going to be a problem Confused Still waiting for the verdict over a week after they received it back.

OP posts:
4andnotout · 11/08/2010 21:18

"Yo Yo Yo your a real nappy Ho" perhaps it could be a cloth nappy jingle Grin

I might sell my itti's as they are driving me mad with wingdroop!!! I spent the whole day oiking them up on dd4, i love the rise on the easyfits although she can whip them off in seconds,i have a couple of scrunchy ones now :( and one with the leg elastic gone Shock Sad
