Ah 4 just think what the itti sale could fund Wink.

myjob, birthday plans sound nice Smile.

mumface, gah for green baby, I hope you sort it.

I also have a cushie that is going a bit crisp packet like Hmm. It is usable as is the itti but the itti just feels all horrible. I am not in the least excited about the tutto and I usually heart one size nappies. It looks messy to me with all the poppers.

LacksDaisies · 11/08/2010 22:41

pmsl at all the pram talk, given my latest FB status update Grin

No offence meant to current or future bug owners Wink

4....theme park question; Was there plenty for the little ones to do? Am worried that they will get bored waiting around for me DS1 all the time! Also, it's been years and years since I was last at a theme park; once in are all the rides free or do you have to pay for the big rides on top of the entry fee? We are doing this holiday on a very tight budget as we are proper skint so it'll help to be prepared!!

and is that crunchy ittis and wonky elastic...or easyfits Shock

4andnotout · 11/08/2010 22:56

Itti's have crunchy and 'lastic issues not my beloved easyfits!!

There are lots of rides and shows for the little ones, mine are 8,5,2 and 1 and they all had a fab time. Everything is free once you are through the gates but drinks and sweets are e pensive so take a picnic, you can go in and out as you please and their is a tesco right outside the entrance if you need it :) will upload the photos to fb tomorrow to show you some of the rides :)

phew

Thanks for the ride info...will print off the GMTV voucher tomorrow and we will give it a bash. DS1 is 8, and over the magical 1.2m for the bigger rides finally so it'll be right up his street, although not sure I have the stomach for big thrill seeking rides now!!

Am soooo looking forward to my hols; am armed with some flips disposable inserts, with a few easyfits thrown in for good measure. There is a washing machine, but it's shared so not sure I'll be able to hog it for a big nappy wash!!

Gotta get packing tomorrow!!

mumface · 12/08/2010 10:55

Oh no Silver cross are saying they havn't received the pushchair back. I was told if I wanted to return it to refuse the order when it came and it would go back. Then they would refund me. Surely if I havn't accepted the parcel I never had it, so I don't have to prove I sent it back. I need my refund I have a bugaboo to fund! Angry

Hi ladies, can you let me know if any of you are aware if rump a rooz need washing before use or are they pre washed?

Also has anyone used indian soap nuts on their nappies and if so do you use slightly less than the specified amount for a clothes wash (like you would with detergent).

Many thanks

mumface · 12/08/2010 13:56

Hi kf, as far as I know Rumparooz will need pre washing if only to remove any manufacturing residue and fluff up the fibre on the inserts.
I use soap nuts and I use the same amount on my nappies as other washing. Maybe I could reduce the amount but it would mean keep fiddling with the little bag you put them in. Also you don't get build up which is why it's not advisable to use too much powder I think.

Grin my FB prize is here! Grin

Oh no mumface! What a palaver! Have you spoken to the courier?

CharlottesClan · 12/08/2010 17:57

oh no mumface :( some of the large baby product companies are always the ones who i have problems with!

tho i have to say mamas and papas have always been super, for me, apart from selling me a pram and carseat without adapters to put it on the pram!! and the worst thing was the adapters were out of stock until after george would have outgrown the carseat!

mumface · 12/08/2010 19:18

They have located the pram at warehouse now. So will hopefully get my refund soon.

Bagpuss- loving your Easyfit stash!

Phew thank god for that'eh mumface! i've just paid for my bee and school uniforms for dd1 and dd2, just need a couple of pairs of trousers each and trainers and shoes. Best list some fluff to tide me over!

mumface · 12/08/2010 22:25

I'm going to have to shell out for shoes for Elliot for back to school and Connors first clarks shoes soon. Got a bargain pair for Lewis though these he has the same pair in a size smaller in brown so I knew they would fit him.
New bee day tomorrow, what accessories have you got planned for yours 4? I couldn't have traffic jam for my liner as it's been discontinued so I went for los muertos turquoise.

OP posts:
4andnotout · 12/08/2010 22:34

Well im hoping my paul frank liner will still fit, my hello kitty footmuff wont so shall have to sell that, my alexander henry set is up for sale but i think im the only person that likes skulls on baby stuff Grin

mumface · 12/08/2010 22:39

Los muertos is skulls fabric, I think it's like one I saw on your photo stream but on turquoise instead of black. Hope it doesn't frighten the baby! I think it's funky though.

4andnotout · 12/08/2010 22:41

Yeah mine has a yellow hangtight so might get a yellow hood too Wink The background is black though so will match the black hood that it is coming with, will be here tuesday Grin

treedelivery · 12/08/2010 23:04

Hi all

Good luck with pram deliveries and sales. I hope they all turn up and ship out as required. Grin

My freebie liner turned up. It's very nice Smile I got this one. I wonder if they would sell? It's nice isn't it? It is nicer than that picture tbh, it's very monkeyfoot wetbag styleee. Sort of vintage. Nice!

DD2 was in hospital last night with croup Sad She was admitted in a disposable [dh stuck it on her Confused] but then he went home and collected all our things for overnight. Including our nappies Smile

I was most proud when I said I needed the wetbags, and he said 'The MonkeyFoot ones?' Grin

SHe seems ok now, although am anxious the steroids will wear off and she'll get it back again. If nothing else I'm on nights tomorrow and I need to be with her when she is poorly!!!

4andnotout · 12/08/2010 23:10

I hope she is better soon Tree!

knuckingfackered · 13/08/2010 10:52

thanks mf

bagpuss · 13/08/2010 15:26

Right then ladies, I need an idiots guide to selling nappies - I have never really sold anything of my stash before Blush. I have things lurking at the back of drawers and in vacuum bags in my loft sooo I was thinking as we have all we need really that I could perhaps flog a few. Apart from putting an ad on here what else do I need to know? What do you all do about postage, paypal fees and how do you go about pricing? Please help! Grin

mumface · 13/08/2010 16:20

I don't know what everyone else does but if something is in good nick I generally ask for half of what I paid for it then stick on £1.50 postage for 1 nappy, £2 for 2 etc. So for an Itti I wanted £7 posted.
You can say fees are included in that or ask them to pay the fee. If you ask gifted nobody pays a fee but if there is a problem the buyer cannot claim as it was not for any goods.

4andnotout · 13/08/2010 18:03

I always send recorded as if you don't have a tracking number the other cab claim they haven't received it and get their money back.

treedelivery · 13/08/2010 18:14

Agree with all of the above. Although I've seen ittis go for their new price on CNT Confused I need to list mne, and cheaper than I did here.

No experience of Rumparooz or wash nuts KF - sorry!

myjob they are lusher than lush Grin. Pic of the squishy pair on the Tots FB page.

Thanks everyone for the selling advice. I'm going to have a good sort out this weekend and then take it from there. Must stop being such a sentimental old git and try to make some money - I am not having any more babies!

mumface · 13/08/2010 19:37
