bottle feeding is second best.

living together as being in the least way undesirable.

marriage shows more commitment.

children need more than one parent

any opiinion resulting from religious faith. bigoted or not.

the opinion that children should have some sort of clothes on all the time. or that they should be made qware of private parts.

in fact any opinion that is not politically correct.

feel free to add any topics you feel i many have missed

oh, and hurling abuse at people is ok as long as you do not use swear words, and it is directed as someone who has a viewpoint different from yours.

Hi Stitch

Quite often a thread turns around and moves on...

I did do the things you admire..only putting them in here to say that things are not always as clearcut as they seem in people's choice or lack of

(well some of them had sex too many times before getting married but..)

university

met future dh at 19

lived together for twelve months

married at 22 for 20 years (in a monogamous relationship on both sides for 23)
had children at 28 29 and 31

unfortunately things unravelled at 42

now divorced and living with dp for 6 years

he has no children

my dd has a baby at 19

But I don't bemoan the situation, we try to be happy and make the most of life and dd is in a steady relationship with her bf and working as best she can towards her aims as are the other two children.

And as a grandma I am now keeping my self busy with mn debates amongst other things hopefuully I would be able to infiltrate the Mogwai website

And I look forward to your next thread Stitch

In 1972 a terrible car crash left him confined to a wheelchair, although by the mid-1970s he could from time to time walk with the aid of crutches

thank you for your vote of confidence lemonice. i am glad life is good for you now.

i dont know if i necessarily admire those things in my original post, but that was how i was brought up to be believe life should be lived.

i have on the whole, enjoyed peoples posts, and cant believe this thread has gone on so much. im usually a thread killer.

Stitch - I admire you for having to guts to stand by your convictions and to stick around and face your accusers, as it were. If it had been me, I'd have run away crying, the wimp that I am!
To echo some of the earlier posts - everyone is entitled to their opinions, whether you agree with them or not - but if you don't agree with them, then there is absolutely no need to be abusive or offensive about it.

paolosgirl · 23/06/2005 17:29

And to the person who did most of the swearing and insulting - why? Why not just have a reasoned arguement?

mogwai · 23/06/2005 19:35

WWW you are JUST HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!

Sandy Richardson, not Mortimer, how could I have been so stupid?

The plot thickens. What's all this about "he could occasionally get up and walk about"????? Do you reckon he was putting it on to claim DLA? OR was it a case of Crossroads' notoriously bad continuiity? Did he sit down very suddenly when the director started waving his arms???

I can lead a full life now. The electricity meter can't touch me any more.

And btw, Lemonice, you can definitely infiltrate my website for reasoned argument. You wanna help me read the essays?

(exits as credits roll from top to bottom and left to right alternately)

btw we are not allowed to deride witches.
One has logged onto a pregnancy thread today and complained we were using the term. Has a cauldron, so I suppose she's every right to get sniffy
