help me with my housing situation please!!!!!!!!

Some of you will have read my threads on my neighbours but we are pushing to get moved, having the housing manager coming out tomorrow and I want to get out of here. My SIL is in Bolton and I have expressed an inerested in 2 houses up there. Homeless won't help because the police can't give me a letter, council want to me to start the eviction process (ie complain and get them to sort it out or face eviction) but I can't do that as I know it will make things worse. Now I need some help to get us moved, I have 2 disabled kids and they can't live like this, and I have to go out a lot for appointments etc and its so scary going out. Please help me.

just had the other neighbour knock, there is a bad smell outside, yuck..... anyway he said that he hadn't seen us for ages, explained what happened and he was shocked.....

Well In the end I just rang the council and h/a every single day and they did get well peed off with that I could tell.
I got letters from everyone I could think of, took photos of damp and threatened them with the press, and basically in the end I probably wasn't very nice to them. I am not a forceful person by nature but in the end it was make a stand and make sure I got the hell out or stay there and live in misery.

I have to be honest and say that even with all your evidence the likely hood of them being evicted is slim, well anytime soon anyway. Councils and h/a's drag their feet far too much and end up having to start proceedings all over again.
My old neighbour is still behaving in exactly the same way and they still have my witness statments and lots from other people and police yet she is still there. The housing assiociation have had to let my old flat to a couple with no children as they knew anyone with children, couldn't live their underneath them and stay sane.

Oh another thought, havwe you seen your local councellor ?? We went and saw ours. She rang round the council and h/a and basically it let them know we weren't giving up without a fight.

My other neighbour said that sometimes it like crimewatch outside, with up to 30 blokes outside, I know I can't stop them hanging outside but its very imtimidating. My hosuing officer is off till the 21st and I am having to talk to the housing manager and se isn't being much help now TBH. I am sick of this......

SIL has been on the phone to her coucnil again and they said that if we can get as much info up to them supporting a move in our favour they will be able to get us a house within a few weeks. SW has faxed a letter to them, supporting a move, just need GP and others to help now.

sparkly, how nice of neighbour to come round to look for you. at least there all not like apeman! glad you got gp out hun. do you think counciling may help you talk things thru?

he is a big scary bloke too, but big in heart. He said 'do you want me to have a word???' He couldn't work out why he is doing this to us as he said 'you are a quiet family'

Bullies only ever pick on people they think they will get away with it with don't they. One day sparkly he will meet his match and boy will he be sorry. These people always get their come uppance, someone will get him and damn right too (am still trying to be a pacifist but he is provoking me!!).

The little runt down the road just started on DH when he went to get some money out, bigging it up and shouting at DH....... yea we can really stay here, can't we????

my mum asked AM to be quiet one night while she was babysitting, as he was lifting weights in the garden, he came round and threatened her, two days later he came and threaten dh

he is lifting the weights and dropping them on the floor... the council said he can do that at 9pm (when my mum asked him to be quiet) but can he do it at half past bloodly ten!!!!!!!

council are being a little silly. the sounds of weights being used is one thing like the ching ching kind of sound but the sound of them dropping on the floor and vibrations is another, no matter what time of the day it is. do you have a noise pollution team at your council?

and if the council think I am going to log everything with twatface down the road now, they have another thing coming, they can forget it..... I ain't doing it..... no way..... don't have the stregth for all this and more..... I am phoning them tomorrow and telling them to get me out of here or I am going to see my MP and the papers, I ain't fucking putting up with this anymore..... They can take a run and jump..... even if I have to pack everything into storage and go and stay with someone for a while.......

use your anger for good and get everything together to make your case watertight. i know it's annoying and frustrating to log every little thing but it will br worth it in the end

I havent really commented SM because TBH i didnt know what to say, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get out.... you cant live like this and its not fair on any of your family.

Call the council tomorrow and say you need to be out by the end of the week. They need to be taking this seriously.

I have had enough........ the council want me to log everything and now twat down the road starts, so I will have to log that too, and I don't have the engery I really don't..... I can get ASBOs put on them next door and then have to start again for twatface.... I can't I really can't........
