Ah pippi, rosolia! That's much better, I was a bit concerned re the morbillo. It is not nice. Rosolia is quite mild, usually.

It is facoltativo in the UK as well. They probably decided it is more cost effective to vaccinate rather than to cure? Boh!

poor DD, pippi. might be that the poo irritates more than usual as she's ill.... glad you're better too..

yea makes sense now as you all seemed so more worried than I was. poor viggo called me immediately after she read it. you must have thought I was a nutter to be so chilled out about it and worry about mother's day .

I saw the thread creeping up again sunflower! I actually posted on it ages ago. Everytime I see a wohm/sahm I feel looking for the most time consuming job on the market.

I've seen SAHM/WOHM thread titles but have not dared click on them. You know, I don't think I've ever been judged for being a WOHM herre, apart from the a Benvenuto member whe she said they just didn't do toddlers at weekends.

Yes, if it's rosolia she can find the poo and being wiped uncomfortable. I'd wipe as little as poss and wash her under the sink.

Have you tried putting a little bicarbonato in the water? Apparently that soothes. Also a tea bag, the tannin really calms the skin.

Do you lunch in groups of perfectly coiffed women? Do you have regular coffee mornings and give talks on Peruvian pottery while sfornendo your lemon drizzle cake? No? You're not a stepford type, sorry.

I'm going to make a peppermint tisana so I can digest my takeaway curry (another thing I miss about Milan) and then ahve a shower because I'm all smelly from the gym.

Also - I am being quietly converted to said painkillers up the bum! We haven't yet had to give DD anything by way of painkiller, etc. (touches wood), but I'm suspicious of Calpol - it's so pink - so maybe I need to get the ILs to bring some over!!

This afternoon I threw out 7 empty shower-gel bottles that had been lurking in our bathroom, waiting for me to recycle them...

Sunflower - the ideal is not to be a Stepford, but to find one who will do everything for you. Then you switcher her off at night and hide her in the cupboard under the stairs. Easy peasy.
