Only just occured to me that Lyra had said the thread was really full.

I just got a Simply Be catalogue for fatties and the clothes are horrid. I wonder if they are actually horrid or they just look horrid as they are on fat people and if so does that mean I always look horrid?

Am in need of distraction as I've been working all morning and am knackered...I need a rich husband so I can go back to bed like Lyra does.
My next 3 lessons are planned so do I
a. Now tidy up
b.Do the ironing
c. Go up to the allotment and get some fresh air and see if it's still there.
d.Lie on the sofa and set an alarm for an hours time just in case I nod off?

What did you go for in the end?
DP's off work today so we're going to trawl the net (yet again) for villas for August. We're thinking of Sicily now. Flights are only about £500 for all of us. Just need to find a villa now and with DP slashing the budget it's going to be tricky.

Attemped the sofa but the phone rang, then I had to do something else,then ironed Teacher clothes for tonight had another cup of coffee to try and wake up.

Did you find anything? Our problem is airports. Although we live next to one, it rarely flies anywhere we want to go.

Fly from Heathrow. You can get flights to Nice from there. Yo can stay at our house the night before so it's easy to get there.

Young Lee was on GMTV this morning. Now I never watch this...ever. Except on Oscar morning when I want to see the pretty ladies in the pretty dresses. So LM popping up was interesting, although I'm sad to report that I thought he looked like a hobbit.
And the song was a bit grim. I think he needs to stick to musical theatre.

What do teacher clothes look like?

I saw it too Zeb. I thought his hair looked good (more tousled than curly) but the song was very ordinary. I didn't know it was him till I happened to glance at the TV. Btw I don't watch GMTV usually either, it was on in the background while I was making packed lunches.

What do y'all think of this villa? It's a little dated decor-wise but it's cheap and close to the beach/shops/restaurants.

Or this one with the misleading price.

Could be ok. I assume you've checked the resort? I'd be a bit worried about the view it's not a great picture. It might be a sea view but is there a petrol station, motorway, funfair between you and the beach?

I'd be happier with that one!
