FairLadyRantALot · 05/02/2009 16:33

lol molly...I have decided the people in your area seem to be nuts...you could possibly be the only sane people there...

TooTicky · 05/02/2009 16:38

good god molly, are they all nutters where you live?

OP posts:
mollyroger · 05/02/2009 16:39

There are a fait amount of nutters,it can be said. And a fair amount of poncey people who are so far up their own arses they could waggle their fingers out of their nostrils.

I do feel really embarassed though. Twice, being told off for snow related offences in 20 minutes....

TooTicky · 05/02/2009 16:42

you rebel

OP posts:
TooTicky · 05/02/2009 16:43

but yes, the telling offs were crap

But if we'd been there we would have been cheering for you...and lobbing snowballs at the nutters

OP posts:
mollyroger · 05/02/2009 16:45

I'm probably going to get told off for letting them seldge down the footpaths now, aren't I?
My defence is the snow is melting fast.

FairLadyRantALot · 05/02/2009 17:12

at lot sounds like a bunch of miserable sods...don't be emberassed...tehy were stupid...gosh, what is snow good for if you cant enjoy it, eh!

AtillaTheHoney · 05/02/2009 17:53

FairLadyRantALot · 05/02/2009 18:11

lol Attilla

Well...I am feeling a bit funny now...bit confused...bit...och don't know...
just talked to someone I recently gotten back into contact with...we met clubbing, many moons ago...I was like 17/18...and then I moved away from my Hometown, and we never got it together...but we kept meeting up when I was in town and stuff....fast forward and I had moved on to another town, and out of the blue he calls and makes his way (a good 4 hours I'd say) up to see me...was inbetween relationship at the time, and well, we finally got it on than...it had never happened before...and my ex sort of interupted and this guy thought he was my boyfriend and it was all a bit of a freak out time, etc....
anyway, so, we lost contact again...
I meet my dh and the rest is like history...
until before x-mas when we meet on a german friends re-united website...anyhow...we were just pondering the old times...and, he was saying that, if back then Handy's would have been the norm, I may still be in Germany...

I mean, it's not that I regrett anything like...BUT...it made me think and ponder and oh I don't know, you know the "What could have been/What may have been" and stuff...

hohum, tis no use...excuse the ramblings...just had to get it off my chest, before I can move on to play mummy and do my wifely/motherly duty of providing the Family meal...

anyway...ignore me...am stupid...

TooTicky · 05/02/2009 18:15

Hey, you;re not stupid Fairlady, these things can stir you up quite a bit.

OP posts:
PollyannaNutjob · 05/02/2009 18:22

evening yurters
fairlady that sort of thing does your head in

TigerFeet · 05/02/2009 19:01

I wanna be called pollyannaNutjob

Fairlady it's often confusing when your past catches up with you... I am friends with a couple of ex's on Facebook and it's v odd, we never exchange pleasantries or anything like that so I wonder why bother but can't quite bring myself to do a friend cull and get rid of them. I have some good memories which it's nice to think about now and again.

TooTicky · 05/02/2009 19:02

hmm yes, i have an ex on fb...we chat sometimes...is quite odd

OP posts:
TigerFeet · 05/02/2009 19:05

I'm FB friends with my first love, he that had the pleasure of deflowering me , we split up 15 years ago and I don't think I've seen him in 12 or 13 years - we are now friends on FB but haven't even so much as said hello to one another. I mean, why? What's the point of that? Weird.

TooTicky · 05/02/2009 19:11

yes, it's odd that being "friends" but having nowt to say, isn't it?

OP posts:
TigerFeet · 05/02/2009 19:13

Annoyingly he hasn't changed much but I am a good 5 stone heavier and look somewhat more -old worn wrinkly tired than I did at 20

TooTicky · 05/02/2009 19:15

he's probably using an old photo

OP posts:
TigerFeet · 05/02/2009 19:19

sadly not so. I have seen his brother more recently and there is a photo of the two of them together with the brother looking as he does now. Perhaps he just looked old back in the day [deluded]

TooTicky · 05/02/2009 19:20

Definitely, yes, that'll be it

OP posts:
AtillaTheHoney · 05/02/2009 20:33

.

TooTicky · 05/02/2009 20:35

. ?

OP posts:
AtillaTheHoney · 05/02/2009 20:36

Not stupid at all fairlady.....

Interestingly, of my few exes, I think 3 of them moved abroad........

If I had an Ex on FB I would officially be a DEAD woman.....!

TooTicky · 05/02/2009 20:39

one of mine is in Australia...

OP posts:
FairLadyRantALot · 05/02/2009 20:47

Thanks Girls Ladies fellow yurters....

I suoppose part of it all is, that he is the relationship that never was, iykwim...I have always liked him and he me...but we were both so fucking stubborn back than and oh, I don't know...
it's just weird...because we are talking on messenger/Stay Friends and have lots to talk about and still get on so well...maybe because we were never really together, therefore no bad feelings...

I mean, it's really not that I am regretting my life as it is, and the life I had, etc...it's just it made me wonder what my life would be like if...which is pretty pointless....

hohum...he still is in Germany obviously, I am over here....we are both married (although, his marriage is pretty much finished and they are just staying together for the sake of their child....and well, I am pretty happily married and all that...it's not like it would ever be going anyywhere...but well..you know what I mean...
