Well, woke up to a winterwonderland scenery (and I have you know, in grotty Corby that is difficult to achieve ) and apparently teh roads between Corby/Kettering are closed...I did offer to go to the Corby Clinic today, but Educator said to stay at home...!
Kids are all off school, too...but man we been waiting at the radio for ages to find out if their schools were open or not...websites were down after about 7am...grrr...no use really...!
We are off out in a moment...to play in the snow....Kids are so excited...!

yeah. Normally it's brilliant living within 5 minutes' walk from work. But the downside means I have no excuse not to come into work while everyone else says ''oh, couldn't get in because of the snow...''
I am so bored. No-one is in, the phone isn't ringing. i may have to go and photocopy something just for something to do..

However, my dreams of a lovely day are already shattrede as dd1 in one of her moods.

Won't share anyhting with dd2 (not even dd2's own toys ), is all shouty and cross. And won't go outside as it is cold.

DD's school appears to be one of the very few open hereabouts, much to her disgust, but tbh I am pleased as I am tired and I feel malnourished and have no energy for playing in the snow . I can't wait for this to pass, I want my life back. I even miss going to work, I like talking to adults during the day

oh, it happened..... the last straw in the crapness of life that makes it all hystrically funny!

Had to take DC's to work...I work in customers homes.

In my abscence, DD opens a window, through which DS throws a snowball, and it explodes;
all over the widescreen television, the wii system, the wiring for the entertainment suite, the digital camera, the BRAND new carpet, the recently painted wall, (in that antique powdery paint), and tha snowball was dirty. It had started to melt by the time I got informed.

I have worked for 5 1/2 hrs for nothing.

My mum and dad gave me some money to do something to look after myself......

my boys are sledding down the drive. On the way home from school we gathered some nice clean, soft snow from a garden wall to chuck at each other and the house owner actually rapped on the window and shook her fist at me
