Just received a copy of DS1's Disney commercials he did, is really funny seeing him on tv and having words to say too! lol

DS1 has a tv casting on Wednesday, anyone else got anything coming up? We have officially had a whole week off from a casting now and I have really enjoyed it!!

Well dont forget to come back on tomorrow and tell us all about it!!

HFD- Is the casting not till 8th? Or shoot date the 8th?

Any time from now it's not good in London anyway, Oxford Street being by far the busiest for us so far!!

DS1 has a casting tomorrow fro Pringles commercial along with his recall for Kingsmill!!

Only round the corner so hope we aren't kept waiting too long at the first one! Anyone else going to the Pringles one?

Melody - I can't believe how busy you are! Kimberley said it will get busierafter Xmas so how busy are YOUR lot gonna be! Casting is the 8th - tht's quite a lot of notice isn't it?

That is quite alot of notice!! Not many companies are that well planned, obviously SMA are which aint a bad thing!! ATleast now you have a bit of time to play around with the bottles of milk during the day to see if he takes it

Only my DS1 has been so busy casting wise, I have 2 other kids as well who have only had a few between them, so alot must be on age as well, it's different with each kid in an agency as to how busy they will be and what age they are at too!

Hi HFD, my ds has this casting tommorrow too, we are 2.30pm, I nearly had the same problem as you, my ds was exclusivly breast fed and would never take a bottle, until just a week ago (luckily), he dosen't normally have a milk feed at this time, so just hoping he will take it.
There are only 2 babies going from ds's agency, do you know how many from yours? I hope its not one of those where they are seeing hundreds.
Also have you been told that you will be in the shots too?

We had our UA (south) shoot at the weekend so still another week to go before we hear yes or no.

Been told that they want a mum and may take a photo of us. Hmph! I'm not as photogenic as my son!! I don't hold out much hope as last two professional photographic things he did (family portrait and a photographer at Gymbabes) he hated it - and he likes his muslin when having a bottle!

Been told toput him in a baby gro underneath his clothes. That's very odd - not sure what else to put him to make sure he is neither too hot or cold!

HFD- Are you going to Castin-In-Space on Little Russell Street? Or is there another one on Coptic itself?

I am at Cast-In-Space tomorrow but not till 5.45pm. You'll find that once kids are of school age all the castings are after those hours unlike young children.

LOL!! You won't need to do anything tomorrow, so I would just concentrate on getting yourselves ready and and getting into London and not panicking over anything.

I am going to have a mare tomorrow!! Near Oxford Street (the worst for being packed) at 5pm then gotta get to Little Russell Street near Tottenham Crt Rd(nearly just as bad)!! at 5.45pm! You got it easy in comparison!! pmsl

I have never taken a receipt book to a casting, not sure you'll even get a casting fee for a tv commercial casting anyway, did you ask Kimberley?

If you get train into Euston then your easiest bet is to get off at Tottenham Crt Rd and go out of the right side entrance, you only have a few minutes walk anyway, easy

Will tube - might go straight to Oxford circus and walk a bit more to save 2 tube changes!

Coming from Euston I only have to jump on the Northern Line for 2 stops to get there. Look on www.walkit.com/london, will tell you how long it is to walk from Oxford circus, but won't take you too much longer, I am walking from Oxford Street tomorrow.
I have still never taken a receipt book, but can't do any harm I guess! You got one yet? If not WH Smith is the best place to get a plain, trpilicate book from.

I take it on jobs yes, but not to a casting.
You can't get lost, if you are going via Oxford Street you just turn right out of there and carry on going right, eventually you'll see Museum on the left hand side and you turn right straight on to Coptic

Just ring and find out if you need to take it for the casting, can't do any harm

yep - I have no sense of direction at all. They move roads you know. Once when I was at Lakeside shopping I came out and they had moved a whole pavement.

Just looked at the headings for the triplicaet book thing just in case - what's production - God am I making myself look really stupid or what today?! Understand client SMA job commercial? or is that production in which case what's job?

I'm not thick everybody I'm not, really! Giving birth I lost the brain cells and people tell me I'm unlikely to get them back too!

Word of advice HFD- Keep shtum unless they are approaching you, they don't alway's like parent's asking loads of questions etc, the agency can give info if kids get picked. If they come over to you and ask things then it's fine.
