Am off to London again tomorrow for DS1 has a tv show casting, anyone have anything coming up?

biggies for buyouts are car commercials.

My friends dd was flown to Suth Africa for a Peugot, as the back up child. Ended up swapping kids as the art director took a fancy to her, and she got about 18 grand for that.

She was 7 at the time. So can be good money.

Photographic can do buyouts too. My eldest ds was on the huggies packets for 2 years and we got 4 figures for that. They went all over Europe aswell as here.

Sometimes places will pay per picture, for instance, points of sale, you know the piccy in Tesco, for nstance that is above the item the child is modelling. They will pay, like £95 per point of sale. (hope that made sense)

Also internet usage, if it's not decided at the time of shoot, sometimes can be extra.

Morning! Received UAN contract yesterday so just need to read through it and get it back.

Not heard from m&p casting yet, I am genrally very pessimistic so have already considered it a no-no!!

£18k eh? Bloody hell, so that's why we all run around like mad women to these castings!!

a quest for those with ak - they now say u can change the details urself - but where is it??? i logged in, and there is no section saying change details (other than change password). i get a box come up saying u are now logged in with a warning triangel and thats that. have even found his pic and clicked on it, but still no where to change details or pics - anyone help before i sned emails (that they never reply to)!!

Hi. I am also with AK and get the same thing, guess it is not up and running properly yet! I have sent emails stating I can't change anything so have to wait and see what they say

A modelling novice here: if of school age, do your children miss much school through jobs? Not sure I'd be happy with that...

just youngest with ak - hes 3 end of dec, but has had absolutely nothing from them - 1 casting which he cudnt make last year due to the runs (it was a shoot in a paddling pool - so u can understand y we didnt go lol) and since then nothin!!

My DS2 is 3 so of similar age. their age group is a tricky and quiet time anyway, due to not many companies wanting to work with that age group, so you may find something comes up more often ina few months time onwards.

Has anyone else got experience of ak on here too. I've also sent emails which aren't responded to and it's making me a bit wary of signing with them. dds current agent at least acknowledge every email

hmmmm concerned now - sent the photos but not heard anything so wary of signing up with them as others aid yes to us! Also when I emailed a while back and said I was thinking about AK and another company but the other one hadn't got back to me she said we get back to all our parents. Not quite true then really!!

Still no reply form UA( and nota phonecall about casting )and his mesurement are still the old ones from the consultation.
Even when I sent an email in August to tell them that ds had grown 3 cm and gone up 1 shoe size they never got back to me and they never updated his profile...
I know that they are busy but an email of acknowledgment would be appreciated!!

You do also have to realise that agencies don't alway's get back to you straight away and would be a shame to base just that on making a decision on an agency when you could miss out on being with a good agent.

They haven't alway's got back to me straight away on queries but have brought in the work straight away and continue to get them work/opportunities, so cannot hold that against them
Just take your time making the right decision for you and don't rush into anything

I really like the sound of AK and was happy til I saw other people experienving the same as me - no response! I'm telling myself that they are very busy which can only be good! Just seems odd that they npw have everything from me but haven't got back to me to get us started! And I'm really impatient in everything!
