Am off to London again tomorrow for DS1 has a tv show casting, anyone have anything coming up?

Hello

Has anyone used Tuesday's child? I have received confirmation that they want my daughter to attend a photoshoot prior to registration and they want to charge £111. This will be refunded if she is accepted onto their books.

Is this normal practice? Is it a scam? Is it worth it?

I am very impatient full stop! once you sent the final pis how long did they take to contact you? When the pics are up can you only see your own baby/child?

HFD, not meaning to be negative, just realistic!, you may find that things don't get going straight away for your lo, my ds was with agent nearly a whole year before his first casting/job!
I think melodydaisy has been much busier than the majority of people, which is lovely. then again, you may be as lucky too, but just want to prepare you for how it may be (or not be!)

Still not heard anything, when I sent the photos in the last time I chased by email and still didnt hear anything so I phoned in the end that was when Kimberley said they wernt any good

rascal-Tuesday's Child is a reputable agency. ALBA list it on their website. I don't know how much work they get for their models though. Their claim to fame is that Kym Marsh was with them!!

It's not just AK, alot of agencies may not get the stuff put up on the website straight away. Think was a week or two after us having the pics done that they were up on site and we were given password's.

It's a fact I am the most impatient person in impatient land. Have received an email from Kimberley - took a while to open my photos 'cos I zipped them (couldn't choose which one!!) and she would have had a job for me Monday but the licesning docs didn't come through! So she has been doing everything and I would have got a job for Monday! So WELL pleased! Not about missing the job of course but looks like we should be okay!!

So excited now!!

You're gonna be even more impatient then in this industry HFD!
All the waiting around to find out if you have the job after a casting, or being told you are 'pencilled' and waiting ages to find out if made the final pick etc.
You'll need to stock up on some vallium!! lol

Hey HFD, we are up and running too! Just spoke to Kimbereley who mentioned the job on Monday too but like you they need the docs back. Just waiting for the email so I can access his profile page and print off the docs. Its exciting isnt it.

Rascal - My neice and friend DD's are with TC, one joined last year the other 5 months ago both have heard nothing since, their website looks very dated and most of their claims to fame's are old (eg curly's daughter on Coronation Street or something like that!!) They are on Alba list so not a con, but personally i don't think i would go with them.

I have not seen them at any castings or jobs and have not even really heard them particularly mentioned on here either!

I was told I should have received an email which gave me the passwords to access his profile page and also access to all the forms I need to complete, like section 2 of the licence form and the GP letter.... I said I had not received anything so she was going to look into it and send me the details... have you done your forms?

Don't believe this but my DS1 now has a casting tomorrow too!!
DS2's cannot be changed from 11am so will be going there and back twice in one day
Will not be making a habit of that though, normally they'd be able to get both nearer together!!

Luce, my dd has two pics on. Like you said, one smiling, the other she actually looks sad. I'm not that keen on it though, think I'd rather have just the one of her smiling tbh. I'm hoping she can get some more pics done in November as Ds will be getting some done then.

Is your ds due to have more pics done? Maybe then they'll add another.
