Morning all
September's thread was very long so thought best to start a new thread as Brooke77 suggested too!

Am off to London again tomorrow for DS1 has a tv show casting, anyone have anything coming up?

Any of you had contract's through from UAN yet?

Email received from UAN saying website launch delayed for another 2 weeks so not sure if DD's and DS's still get put forward for work.

christabel · 31/10/2008 17:47

Sorry just read back DD on Halloween Cape Pack and Kids Wig - (face painted so not all that clear but still great to see when you go in store). I was going to ask Tesco's if they had any left if I could have some, but as they are only a couple of pounds don't want to appear cheeky!!!!

Hello, I just got directed to this thread as I am thinking of looking into getting DS2's photos to some modelling agencies.
Any advice for a complete newbie? Where should I start?

Totallyfloaty35 · 31/10/2008 19:38

Best bet is to send a couple of pics off to the following agencie
Urban Angels(be quick as books close on sunday)
Bruce & Brown
Kids London(only accept postal applications)
Norrie Carr
Bizzy kids
Alphabet Kids
Scallywags
MOT Junior
Rascals
Elsabeth smith
The first 3 agencies have the lowest start up costs, goodluck

2point4 - good info on this site too: alba models - what makes a good model and names of dodgy "agencies"

2point4kids · 01/11/2008 08:35

Thank you both of you.
I have sent off to Urban Angels and will look at the others asap.

Will also look at that website too.

What kind of start up costs do you think will be involved?

Housemum · 01/11/2008 09:45

Depends on the agency - some charge £20 "assessment fee" when they first see you, to deter time-wasters. B&B charge about £40 to put you on the books, annual photoshoot is £120 but only from age 3-4 (and they do give you a CD of the pictures to take home and print personal copies of). NC used to charge £150 - I think the photoshoot was an extra £70 then you could buy copies at £5 each.

cant find a new thread, anyone heard of truelyscrumtious??

Doni10 · 23/10/2010 11:27

Hi mums... has anybody worked with Bizzykidz? My son got accepted but I don't like the fact they want £25 upfront + £25 at the audition and a final £90 at the completion of the registration. Is this normal? I've always been told that we shouldn't pay any money upfront... any advice? Thanks a lot

goldenpeach · 25/10/2010 17:30

Next is having a free competition, see the thread above!

nappyaddict · 28/10/2010 22:48

Can you all please vote for my friend's little one Audie

Firawla · 30/10/2010 22:38

doni the 25+25 for audition if you pay it means you have been already accepted anyway, apparently. and is reduced from the overall price cos it is 140 but if you do the audition/photoshoot then you pay 90 (the 140 minus 50 paid already) so if you were going to go with them its worth paying that to attend and have the professional pics done as the cost works out the same
you can add them on facebook and twitter b4 you join if you want to see the types of work they get or ask any questions
