Hi. Just wanted to say that my DS1 has a casting on Monday already and only went to see AK 2 weeks ago!!

Anyone else got castings/jobs coming up?

julie4travel-The Disney one on Monday? New Drama? If so what time you there? Which agency are you with?

This will be a first casting for my DS1 so I doubt he'll get picked as has not had any experience whatsoever yet, but atleast it will be an experience going through the process of it hey? My kids would like to get into the tv/commercial side of things, hence why I liked the idea of AK, glad you see them at jobs!!

Rubystarr77- Congrats, how was it? Are you glad to get it out of the way?

My hand was in one shot with my daughter Melody for the Boots catalogue which was funny!! I don't wear jewellery so had to borrow my friends ring to wear on my wedding finger!! pmsl

am hoping there isnt too many children at the casting, our last disney one was a lovely small casting yet I have heard they can have loads of children there too!

Sugarpeas: I would personally send one where the face is completely visible. RE Chilly models, I know it's a very very new agency set up by the mum of a child model.

christabel - i havent ever seen chilli models on casting sheets- looked at their website and it looks like a very new company - try and see if you can get a list of clients or something as i cant seem to see any work listed on their site - yet i was nosing very quickly. why not try a a listed agency from albas website or something

thanks mums for comments, went really well, she behaved and smiled so all was good, but don't think we was what they were looking for. not heard either so i doubt it!
Hope that was the start to many more.
mum asking about kent- i'm in kent we are with scallywags and bizzykidz.
bizzy kidz is in kent but all jobs /castings london..
some agencys don't accept us living too far from london!

sugar I have heard that the start up costs are quite high for chilli so I don't think it would be wise paying alot to gowith such a new agency.

Can anyone tell me how long it would take to walk from Gunnersbury station to Playhouse Disney Unit 12 chiswick park, 556 chiswick high road? Bit confused as looking on map Chiswick Park is bit off from Chiswick High Road, so unsure of that too!

Nice to meet you too Julie4travel!! What did your DS make of it? I couldn't get much out of mine, he said it was "too hard to explain"!!

He came out on a high though, he really enjoyed doing it and they had no problem getting him to smile for a picture afterwards as he was still beaming!! I don't hold out anything on this job, but really chuffed with how it enjoyed it so much and with more experience he's going to do well I think!
Anyone else got more castings lined up for this week?

Well done to your ds, melody ! always good to hear when kids get such enjoyment from their experiences in this biz ! My ds always comes out with a smile on his face.. as he does from exams too !!!
Unfortunately, we had to turn down m&s casting as ds is away..
