Hi. Just wanted to say that my DS1 has a casting on Monday already and only went to see AK 2 weeks ago!!

Anyone else got castings/jobs coming up?

goingfor 3 - how old is your baby? i have applied to most agencies, no replies yet am sending photos to kl and reminding them that dd is on their books (i think they'd need the reminder) and sent an email to Alysia at UA where ds1 is so hopefully one of them will take ds2. what was the job your ds did? just curious!

3kids - Congrats! We're still waiting, hopefully we'll get a call soon too

Luce - thanks and i have to agree with that just out of curiosity what agency was your ds with before joining ua?

Hi again. DD has just been provisionally accepted by Boss in Manchester. They're also charging nearly £100 for photo shoot and inclusion on their site. Does this sound reasonable. I'd assumed they wouldn't charge anything? Also, if you get to interview stage, do they reject a significant proportion of children?

Have also just sent photo to Urban Angels North. Hoping it's not too late. Does anyone know if they have an upfront fee?

ichef he's 13 weeks old. He joined about four weeks ago when he got a Marks and Spencer job, he's doing his third one for them tommorow. Good luck!

Puffling - Boss one of the biggest agencies in Manchester - 100 pounds sounds alot but that what most photographers charge so is probably about the normal charge. Are you in Manchester - I'm in Leeds and have applied to UANorth - deadline this Friday.

Brooke77 Thanks for your info. I applied to R and KK and had a phone call from KK within the hour !! Are you happy with them. Do they get many castings. Its all very exciting ].

I know KK are a very new agency and they had also rang me straight away too! I decided i was happy to go with AK though. I am not sure just how much work they would be getting with being a new agency,but M&S did say they had used them when I emailed around. R are at quite a few casting's aparently but I am new to this myself.

puffling ..u/a charge you £50 to set up the childs web page and you get two photos from the shoot.well thats what the london one costs .

kk are not such a new agency.. they have been around a few years now and appear to be expanding and doing well in the industry. My ds has been with them since july and we've had to turn down castings from them so far due to holidays. I think they are a good option if you are looking for a friendly agency and dont want to spend a lot of money.

3 kids. It's this friday. I think we are 1.30. It's for my boy though not my dd, bless him. I said,

"do you want to be in a Dora advert?" To which he replies, Ugh, no way.

Just been directed here. Was thinking of getting ds2 into modelling, and have interview with agency in Macclesfield but they want £121 up front for photos, was wondering if this is normal and also can anyone recommend any other north west based agencies which might be better. Thanx

You're never going to believe this but my DS1 is pencilled in for the 2nd Disney casting he did last week as well!! lol

DD has been provionally accepted by Chilli Kids, BUT it's all dependant on a test shoot which will cost me £110. Should I run away?

i really would not pay ANY monies upfront before even being given a decision on whether they are taking you onto their books, IMO anyway!

would try a few more established agencies first lilred, try bk,rascals,sw,etc.

had rascals on the phone today my dd got casting tom for that dora the explora, cant believe it she only went on thier books monday i was thinkin id be waiting couple of months to here from them. That good news bout your ds you must be so proud x
