Nearly 7 and still dark. Urgh. But also not looking forward to clocks going back. Sigh I’m sure I’ll find something positive to say at some point. Nearly the weekend!

Morning all. The rain arrived overnight and is still gently falling (I think - the window is wet anyway).

My feet are cold, but retrieving the fluffy slippers would mean disturbing Slinky, who is using me as a cat bed while I work, so no dice. Frostbite will happen before I'm allowed to move, as far as she's concerned .

Wasn’t too bad weather wise until lunchtime and then the heavens opened. Did that on and off the whole afternoon, but very generously stopped for the walk to the car and the drive home.

Work was, let’s say, frustrating. Friday evening now though so who cares? I have a raspberry blue vodka and Jessica Fletcher yet again taking no shit from anyone.

Evening all. Work was workish (more spreadsheet balancing), but I finished at 5:30 for once, so hurrah! I have been out gigging, and am back home again now. Gig was fun - music and chat. There was a massive queue to get in though - in the rain. I managed to stop it raining though, by running back to the car and getting my umbrella. Go me!

Afternoon all. I slept late and mooched around and I'm meant to be going out shortly. I would rather stay on the sofa, but hey ho. I'm sure I'll have fun once I've got dressed and met friends and gone out. Probably. <sigh>

Afternoon. Nice day again, but very chilly this morning. I had a shocking night, awake for hours, I don't know why.

It's sometimes such an effort to go out Helen, but it's usually worth it.

I’ve finished another crochet project as some yarn I’d been waiting for came back into stock. However, I’ve added another couple of things to make to the list for a birthday next month. Only little(ish) things though. I think I’ll have a tidy tomorrow and get properly organised with everything.

Evening - woe is me, have succumbed to the lurgy that has been going round fuzzy head all week and now a chesty cough. Consequently I have achieved little all day, hoping a good night's sleep will help. Also planning to start a very lightweight film in a minute or two and just generally relax with TKFNAC for the rest of the evening.

Evening all. I have been out at an '80s day disco' with friends, which turned out to be lots of fun, once we found somewhere to dump coats.
Unfortunately I went in with a headache, and now the drugs have worn off and it's back again. Bleurgh.
