Evening. It wasn't as hot here as forecast I think, but I spent most of the day hiding inside, so I wouldn't definitely know. WobblyCat slept under our bed all morning.

Was still 25 degrees outside at 10pm here. Have every single window and most of the doors open and just hoping that the citronella candle will keep some of the mozzies away.

Morning. I was munched by a mozzie last night, though I at least caught it in the act and it quickly became a dead mozzie. I do want to just chew my arm off though

Urgh. Zero energy...

Afternoon. Still very hot but not sunny. I went to the dentist this morning and DH went for physio on his arm. She told him 12 weeks in total before golf, hell’s bells! I was so shocked when DH told me that I dropped a yogurt I was getting out of the fridge and it went everywhere. He’ll be unliveable with.

We’re going to the caravan tomorrow. We’ve had so many appointments and occasions, not to mention the accident that we haven’t been able to get there since Easter, so we’re grabbing this opportunity. I’m in packing mode but I’m dragging myself around and having to have a rest every 10 minutes.

Boooo to excessive heat at home and mozzies and yogurt dropping shock news. Hurrah for lovely mini-meets and surprise family all at once visits and trips to London.

You’ve got it hotter there than we have here, although I checked the weather at home and it was 19°. Did another trip yesterday which was a lot of fun.

Got the message about what time we’re being picked up for the journey home. I’ll be a bit sad to leave but I’m also looking forward to getting home (and following Wimbledon on the app isn’t the same as watching on the tv).

Evening. I stuck the washing out today since it's due to maybe rain tomorrow. Except I left it out too long and it's got all clammy and damp again. FFS. Other than that I've been working.

12 weeks Apricot He'll just have to be walking round the golf course with his friends to keep fit, otherwise he won't be able to keep up when he can start playing. 100% true.

Yesterday I had lunch with mum, shrimp sandwich and a cappuccino, yum! Then a visit to the dental hygienist that went well. Then I went to just have look in the shoe store across the street but left with two pair of shoes. One with leopard print, I'm middle aged now so felt the need for animal print

Would love to meet up Fancy but I think it will be a lot of handholding with my travel companion so don't think I can visit you in your home unfortunately, even though I would love to meet Chonk and Floof again. Maybe a coffee in London?

Evening all. Today we had a work event outside. The weather was overcast and ranged between dry, drizzle and light rain. After it finished, the sun came out. D'oh!

Afternoon. Yes, we’re safely at the caravan. Very hot when we arrived and today is sunny but there’s a cool breeze. We went for a walk this morning and I’m now looking for a place that’s sheltered from the wind to sit outside.

Evening. Mostly sunny today, but cool now. In exciting news, DS got behind the steering wheel of the car today! There were a few stalls and a couple of kangaroo hops, but he did really well. Haven't managed to find him a proper instructor yet, but he'll be an expert at pulling away in first gear by the time we do.

We are home! A delay of about an hour turned into closer to two but we got here in the end. Didn’t really sleep on the plane so I’m running on fumes right now. Washing machine is already working hard. Physio appointment this afternoon.

Evening. Warm day here, but very windy. We went to the nearby town to have a mooch around the gift shop this afternoon.

Ooooo, exciting about MiniHelen learning to drive. DGD doesn’t seem very interested but her BF has a car so there’s no urgency. DGS can’t wait and has driven DH’s car on the beach here but it’s automatic so he didn’t have to bother with gears. No-one was on the beach at the time I hasten to add!

I got a few loads dry but went out for my physio appointment early afternoon and the rain arrived five hours early. DH and DS2 brought it in but I’ve obviously still loads to do. It’s barely stopped raining and blowing like mad since.

Neither DC was interested to drive as soon as they could. DS1 has had lessons now though and is waiting for a test. DS2 not interested at all.

I’ve managed to stay awake and am going for a bath and early night.

Evening. I have had a day of spreadsheets and reconciliation, and a loooong meeting where we finally got somewhere with tracking down a mismatch between budget and reality.

Morning all (Just about). Lie in today - hurrah! And no plans, though there's lots that needs doing, Outside is sunny and windy. Inside there is a comfy sofa though I should check the weather, because there was thunder forecast for tomorrow and if that's right then I should get garden things done today.

Bit tired today, I'm too old for this being up late and going to concerts It was scheduled to finish at 23.30 but we left an hour early, it was just dragging on and on. Very few songs we recognized, Axl was mostly shrieking but Slash, Duff and another guitarist was good, except veeeeery long guitar solos over and over.

I actually have special earplugs for concerts Helen, I'm so sensible, feel like an old lady I even have dental floss in my handbag, very rock'n roll

I didn't get my drivers license until I was 31 i think.

Afternoon. It threw it down in the night. I hope we had some rain at home. DS is coming to water the plants and tomatoes but it was all very dry when we left. Still very windy here and I don’t like walking in it, it gives me earache.

We bought two mugs, a pretty colander for here and a paintbrush from the gift shop WW, that was it. Sorry the concert wasn’t as good as you would have liked. There’s no way I would go to one now, although I used to love them.

Shame about the gig Wicked but glad you enjoyed at least some of it. The issue for me after a gig is the sore back/hips/knees. Last time we went to see Elbow there was a very high number of people having to do various stretches afterwards 😁
