Six weeks! Eek - 'thoughts and prayers' Apricot! At least the cast is off though.

I have a had a long day on my feet, and I'm tired. That is all. I'm off helping at the County Show for the next two days - expect no sense from me, we didn't finish setting up this evening so it's an early start tomorrow.

Nothing going on here, DH is doing a bit of one-handed weeding and I’ve been cleaning some cupboards out. That’s about as exciting as it gets.

Boat trip was excellent. However, despite liberal and regular amounts of suncream, I seem to have some quite red bits. The mosquitoes continue to feast and I continue to have “interesting” reactions.

Morning all. We are at Chateau Fancy. Yesterday was spent in a blur of final show tidying up, throwing clothes in a bag, sitting in a car and trying to squeeze bits of work in.

Glad to hear that LetUs boat trip went well. <cbf> at the mozzies though.

Yay for a London trip ww, would be lovely to meet up if your schedule allows. Can't promise significant Chonk & Floof appearances if you drop in, they were very shy for most of the weekend. This morning Floof seemed to have spent most of the morning in the shrubbery gathering grit and dead leafy bits in his coat, presumably so that he can distribute them all round the house It is far too hot to contemplate hoovering, I am already melting just at the prospect of tomorrow's weather.

Parental situation continues to drag on due to what feels like avoidable delays.

Afternoon. Very hot here but not sunny. We had a visit earlier from both DC and their DC, neither knew the other was coming. We had a lot of fun with DGS’s end of term maths paper which he brought round, much of which was nothing like the maths DH and I did.

Awww at Chonk and Floof.

Evening all. <Arf> at Floof collecting grit etc. One of ours left some cat poo in the hallway for us (Unless Dad dropped some one route to flushing it down the toilet. ) Chonk and Floof were very not shy when I was putting biscuits in their bowls though they were generally averse to randomers arriving in their house.

The drive home was very hot, so hurrah for DH having good air con in his car.

Maths terminology seems to have changed as much as anything Apricot - never mind using different techniques for solving stuff.
We've just been watching Alanis at Glastonbury - awesome! I should really head for bed now - I suspecxt I need to clear all the 'weekend away' crap off it so I can get in!
