Usual Sunday and also finished the knitting project I was doing, although today it was all sewing which is definitely not my strong point. Just ate a massive dinner and will no doubt soon feel quite sleepy.

Perhaps MrA will keep at ground level for a little while longer!

Afternoon. Not so nice today, cloudy and colder. I’ve just noticed DH is up the ladder again, I can see him through the landing window, but he’s on top of the porch so not high up.

I hate the sewing up LetUs. I managed to redesign the sleeves on my jumper and found a bit more yarn, so I’ve finished the knitting but I’m putting off the sewing.

DH was poorly last night which is most unlike him. It was hopefully something he ate rather than a bug, given that we saw my parents and LovelyMIL yesterday. He’s feeling much better which seems to back up the iffy food.

Work was very full on and I’m really going to try for an early night.

DH claims to be all better and has gone off to work. DS2 however isn’t too good but with different stuff. Difficulty is he says nothing’s wrong (that’s why he didn’t stop coughing for an hour late last night) and gets very snappy and arsey. Le sigh.

Disturbed sleep and mad dreams do not make for a restful night.

But we carry on with the day.

Morning all. Reading the entrails, I can see it is bright and sunny outside, though there is high cloud and it's forecast to close over and go cold again for the rest of the week. Boo.

Hope that the ManshapedLetUs all continue to improve and stop being grumpy arses. (DH has just appeared here, all tired and grumpy.) I had weird dreams too last night, but frankly they're too dull to explain, and wouldn't add anything to your lives if I did! Just left me going WTF was that about? when I woke up.

Am back at work <sighs> A busy week or so ahead & the possibility of various parental stuff to be dealt with, although with any luck this will be moving things along to bring about some improvements to the situation.

We’re 99% sure it was something DH ate (possibly the eggs) as DS2 and I are both fine and DH is fully recovered. Just as well because my sympathy in that sort of situation - however much it’s deserved - wears off quite quickly 😁

DS2’s mood seems to have improved.

Tiiiiired, though I slept fine until 6am.I'm still a bit sniffly but not too bad really. There was a frost at some point this morning, because there was ice in the bird bath, but nothing on the grass so it lifted early on.

Afternoon. Cloudy and cold. I did a Sainsbury shop this morning and the wind was biting. Very strangely I met our friends who we meet for meals out and who live 15 miles away. Apparently they'd been out with a relative and were passing and she wanted to get some stuff.

Hope the cold doesn't hang around Helen.
