I have woken up with the fucking heading still. It laughs in the faces of drugs, apparently. FFS

urgh. DH did the livestock this morning so I haven't bee outside, but it's very dreary. Last night's fog still hasn't burnt off completely, so I suspect we're stuck with it for the day, though the sun it trying to break through. I should probably go out anyway and see if that helps.

Afternoon. Busy week out at a client's and then had yesterday off for various birthday treats - DD treated me to brunch and then I went for tapas and to the theatre with a friend to see Hidders. Someone had tipped him off as at there was bare-Hidders-torso at one point 😁

Showering with the cat sounds like a genius idea Helen - when I've had to wash FancyCat in the bath I ended up soggy as did the bathroom, being in the shower would have contained the mayhem.

Afternoon. Nice day, DH has cut the lawns and the mower actually started first time which was a bit of a miracle. He usually spends the first day swearing at it. Lovely to smell the new-mown grass.

Hope the headache has gone Helen and the craft shop had what you wanted LetUs.

I did get one wash out but then we were out for longer than planned so it was a bit late to put another out.

Craft barn was very obliging and I got what I wanted mostly, got the rest from a Famous Market near DS1’s. I’ve been before and I knew what I was after. DH came with me. He hadn’t been before. I should have put some reins on him.

Hurrah for mower working first time!

The headache eventually succumbed to a 3-asprin hit early afternoon, hoping that it stays away this time!

Also hurrah for the mower starting first time - I did think about mowing, but called it a day after pruning the buddleja and a bit of the hedge.

It was very considerate of Hidders to strip off for you Fancy. I had a HBF dream last night - but it was one of many and I don't really remember much, other than I was with a friend waiting to meet the HBF at a street corner, and we were waiting for ages, then walked round the corner and he was waiting on the other side.

Am going to stop using the laptop before the headache resurrects itself.

We’re watching The Inspector Lynley Mysteries which popped up on the iPlayer. We spend most of the time saying “what was she/he in?” and I spend the next five minutes on IMDB and miss what’s going on. TB and his Dad turned up in one but I knew about that.

Washing more or less dried outside, ironing done, visiting done, flapjacks made, one knitting project finished, another started. Sounds busy but it wasn’t really. DS2 is sulking and stropping about the bastard football.

Ooo Inspector Lynley, I remember that. I think I’ll download it to watch. Reboot of Bergerac is available now so I might try that.

Evening all. The washing may have got dry on the line, but was getting cold and damp again by the time I brought it back in. But it was a lovely sunny day - so a bit annoying to have been stuck indoor working for most of it. I meant to get the mower out and go round the flower beds, but forgot. Ho hum. I did manage half an hour on the stepper first thing though.

I'd heard that Bergerac's been rebooted, but not seen any. We were watching Death in Paradise tonight. And probably some sort of sport, but I'm ignoring that now. <glances at TV- yes. Sport. blokes looking happy waving a big silver cup. Whatevs.>

Kittens were super cute obviously. Took round some stuff that had been LetUsCat’s including a bed. I’d given it a thorough wash. Kittens previously not been keen on any of the various beds they’ve got - straight into this one 😊

Afternoon. Nice day, but a bit more cloudy than yesterday. I went to do a few local jobs and there are temporary lights on the main road in the other direction as well. I couldn't see what they were doing as there were no workers there. They changed to red in front of me both ways. Argh!

I saw that there's a new Bergerac, will give it a try when we've finished Lynley.

Awww at cute kittens. Typical about the beds. Misty has two of her own together with a self-heating mat, and ignores them all.

LetUsCat was never overly keen on beds and scratching posts. I remember getting him one of those beds that hook over the radiator. Ignored it completely. The kittens have one and I was very impressed to see them snuggled up in it when we got there.

Rather tired. Might have an early night as DH hasn’t watched last week’s Apprentice. He and DS2 watch it together and I go to bed.

Evening all. Though I'd posted this morning Oh well. Nice and sunny here again. Frosty start again though and I needed to do an emergency windscreen scrape before I could get DS off to college. What I needed was a HBF to come along and smoulder at it - that would have cleared it faster.

Idiot Kitty doesn't care about beds - he's all about boxes. And he'll scratch at the post for Dreamies, but prefers to use the furniture. FFS. I like the idea of a self-heating mat though - sod the cat, I'll use it!

Afternoon. Frosty start, but sunny since. I went for a routine blood test this morning and then had a walk round the road.

Happy Pancake Day! I’ve bought ready made from Sainsbury’s. I can’t be bothered faffing about with them, I’ll just stick them in the microwave.

Afternoon. Same weather as yesterday. I got washing on the line and must go and get it in before it gets damp.

According to the app my blood test result is in and is over the normal range, repeat in 6 months, as it has been for the last 17 years although I’ve never been offered any medication for it. I don’t want any now because it would clash with the other meds I’m on, which are probably the result of not being treated for the original problem. 🙄
