The Hulu thing was presumably been done by someone with a very similar email address to mine, who did a typo when they set it up. Why they didn't use the email that they use for paypal I have no idea, because I know what that was as well since so much paperwork was emailed to me!

Anyway, it has been a day - cat vom, work, cat vom, work, rescue magpie from Dad's fireplace, find ladders to try and cover chimney top, cook tea... <wilt> Also much laundry to take advantage of the heat, and carpet cleaning (obvs.) The manshapes have been out being sporty/hot and sticky. They have a competition tomorrow so doubtless I wander along and be supportive there. So I should go to bed really.

We have potential thunder late afternoon.

Lovely meet up with BestFriend. Bought some tiny balls of yarn in colours I was looking for for a toy project, but I’ve realised this evening that it’s the wrong thickness. It’s not a big problem and I can work around it but am 🙄 at myself. Went to see DS1 and his girlfriend this afternoon which was as fab as ever. Then the rain finally arrived this evening after it being forecast all day, but no storms,

DS came home with a medal #ProudMother I have come home with sun tan/burn, and a logistical headache of enabling a cinema meet-up for DS and friends.

That's annoying about the yarn LetUs but at least you can work round it. Facebook has just shown me some very cute crochet highland cattle.

I know what you mean about wasted days Apricot - very frustrating. At least you got the windows washed yesterday! Isn't wicked on holiday for about 3 months?

Oooooh the air ambulance has just landed in a field up the road with a police helicopter hovering overhead. DS saw it as he was on his way here to collect some stuff, said it looked like an emergency landing. That’s today’s bit of excitement.

Today has been mostly warm and sunny. We went to the beer festival; I have baked biscuits; washing was done. All very unexciting, though the band playing at the beer festival were good.

Afternoon. Rain this morning but it brightened up later.

Nothing going on here. We’ve got DGS tomorrow and probably Wednesday. No idea what to do with him. DD’s going to ask him what he wants to do which will probably be spend all day in front of screens. He’s not interested in jig-saws or Lego. Long gone are the days when we could take him to the swings or for a ride round on his bike.

I miss those days with the DC Apricot, when they would sit and do jigsaws or Lego. I mean obviously it’s a while since that would happen but I was only remembering it the other day. Although thinking about it, that was really only DS1. DS2 wanted to be more active was less easily controlled

Rain again here and quite dull. Work was grrrr so I’ve been knitting and watching The Aurora Teagarden Mysteries to relax.

Am watching the athletics from Saturday to see if I could spot myself in the crowd and to catch the bits I missed It was a good afternoon, always a great crowd at that event & our expensive seats were well worth it. Afterwards DS & I went for an early dinner, so a fab day all round.

Yesterday I travelled to FancyDad & we went to see FancyMan play at a festival, was lovely to get him out, although there was quite a bit of walking for him. Problems still remain for him at home, but hopefully he enjoyed the break.

Seems to be sunny so I’ve taken the chance to put a wash on which should finish in time for it to go outside before work. And then no doubt the shenanigans at work will continue. Unfortunately they’re not any kind of fun shenanigans.

Glad that you got FancyDad to go on a nice outing Fancy. Similar to athletics spotting DH has been trying (and failing) to spot himself in concert photos on social media, which have been taken from the area he was in.
