Afternoon. After the lovely weather yesterday with no washing done I did two loads this morning but the sun didn’t appear until an hour ago. I think it’s dried though.

We had a lovely meal last night but DS knocked a pint of beer over himself which wasn’t good. Everything happens to him.

Hope the Eng Lit went well.

I did two loads of washing and we mostly had sun, but it was feeling a bit dank by the time I got it in.

Today has mostly been very wading-though-treacle-tired. I want an early night and I suspect that DS will want a double-bill of the last two episode of Fallout. (Amazon Prime series, based on a game.)

Working at home today as I have an online course this afternoon.

I had a pleasant weekend thanks, watched Bridgerton, realised how much of the previous series I've forgotten, so may cycle back on them to lust after Anthony refresh my knowledge of the plot.

Heavy rain now forecast, so off to rescue the washing. Probably needn't bother as there is also thunder forecast - and we know how likely that is to happen.......

I think it’s DH who needs the bubble wrap. He’s burnt himself on a heat gun or something and has two huuuuge blisters on his finger and thumb, where he holds his golf club, so that’s out for a while and he’s in a bad temper over it, as am I.

We’ve also started the third series of Bridgerton and I have no idea who a lot of them are. They should have done a résumé of who’s who.

Rain here too. 2cm overnight I think, and a breakdown on the way to BoringOfficeJob so that will be a fun drive in. IdiotKitty is booooooooooooooored.

Have a delightfully uneventful dentist trip LetUs (I've lost the corner of a molar I think, but not bad enough to see the dentist. How expectations of the dentist have changed in the past 5 years! )

Hope MrA has learnt his lesson and will back back on the golf course soon - for everyone's sanity! Is the 'new' golf club working out ok? It's not exactly new anymore!

Yes Helen the new golf club is fine, it’s nearer and easy to get to. Three friends joined with him, but sadly one of them has recently died after quite a long illness, but someone else has asked to join them to make up the four.

Hope the dentist went well LetUs. I had a piece of molar break off last year and I think it exposed a nerve as it was very sensitive to hot and cold. The dentist used something akin to polyfilla on it and it’s been fine since. It only took a couple of minutes and didn’t require an injection.

DS2 is unhappy, as is DH to a lesser extent, that the football final that’s on tonight is not available on any of the bazillion channels we already have, like it’s something I’ve done on purpose by making it no longer free to watch (like I has been in previous years apparently). If only I had that sort of power.

Evening. Glad to say that the breakdown was cleared by the time I got to it, so traffic was no worse than usual this morning.

Morning all. We have had sunshine, it's clouding over now. Better not rain this morning, I volunteered for local festival prep outdoor this morning . 'Drowned Rat' is not on my wishlist for looks - unless it means I get the attention of a concerned HBF. I should probably close the back door, the clouds are looking v. dubious.
