Am feeling much better thanks tired but hanging in there have aversions to tea and coffee so unusual for me and still teh odd thing makes me go green round the edges.
Weather update but I guess TMMJ is on her way now its grey / sunny/ slight wind but forecast says its getting better. Heading to gardaland and guess what the forecast for second half of week cr*p. We were going in train but said to dh take the car if it does turn out terrible then we can escape !!!

I didn't get dd the casa di pippi calzelunghe (stupenda), I got her this, which was actually 24 euros and 90 cents, so cheaper. Then sil arrived with her present and guess what it was?? Another bigger, pinker wooden house... but then sil has a soft spot for dd...

Maybe she can combine the people and the furniture ? Or maybe she can find some other people or cuccoli ( I see that they are really in fashion at the moment but oh so expensive for things so small !)

Yes, she can. In fact the house is the same make as the one I got her, only posher (bad mum emoticon as well). Amazon also has loads of wooden houses to suit different tastes. And they sell wooden little furniture sets as well. I'm getting addicted.

I have been surfing Amazon for dollshouses too, I am suffering total dollshouse overload! I am also finding myself getting annoyed that they don't put floor area and other essential info, it's as bad as real house hunting. I probably need to get out more.

Also, is all the furniture more or less to the same scale? Boh?

I can't believe the weather rosa! we have friends arriving on wednesday from the UK. che figura!!!

I started on Amazon today as I saw a few items in teh sale they had then I thought I would do one bulk buy and send to the Uk. I gave up as it kept sending me to similar items got confused!! I had a fantastic dollshouse that my father made for me . It was a replica of our house and fantastic . I know my sisters children never played with it and I would love it for dd but how we would ever get it back here it would take up most of the boot of the car!!!!

Rain rain go away! This is getting very boring. Today was mostly dry, the first day in ages, or so it seems, I've finally managed to get some washing dry without it smelling of muffa. Am definitely craving some sunshine, even DD's tan is fading.

Bought my cousin's DD a birthday present off the internet on Friday, without calculating that today is Bank Holiday in the UK, so it will definitely arrive late. Aaaaargh! I've also agreed to go to a work meeting in Paris on the 2nd June and only realised afterwards that it's festa here. Double aaaargh! I think I'm in the early stages of dementia, I always seem to be forgetting things lately.

Rosa, good luck with your househunt. Is Venice like the rest of Italy with houses moving much more slowly, or do things tend to get snapped up quite quickly?

Mega mega warm here almost to get the AC out ( joke !!) have nice breeze coming through house. Plus a few hundred zanzare I guess Last night we had 2 zooming round and we couldn't found them . HAd to wash dd this am ( shower) as I covered her in Autan at 3am !

Doc took a week off my calculations today so am only going into 16 weeks. DD2 is 11cm and moving a fair bit but when he went to take a pic for i nonni she turned the other way !!
So looks like will be going to Uk mid July (pooh) wanted to go earlier but he reckons that 20 week scan might even be 21 weeks. I have to call him in a couple of days to get a date....So am looking at flights in JUly but the internal is huge as school holiday start.Don't fancy driving 5 hrs either !

Very hot here as well, but still quite cool indoors... I'm dreading the heat, we don't have AC. But we might borrow 1 pinguino from pil, hopefully.

Ours is a penguino thing but the vent thing that sits on the window ledge weighs a ton! It only does 1 room really but if we put it on and open / close odd doors of the house we can get the house cool. Problem is that with dd we try to keep the temp even !
But sometimes even just putting it on for 30 mins takes the humidity out of the air and you need that for sure.
Getting a bus is a no go 7 hrs from Gatwick plus changes ..Train is worse !! No it will be flight or car hire ... The search continues!
