Lol at the lindtor eggs! Fwiw Lidl mini eggs work just as well, probably because there's no real chocolate in them. Or the discount "chocolate" Babbo Natale that MIL gave to DD for her 1st Xmas. That gave me the runs.

I remember the Lancaster stuff - I probably bought some and fried myself ! Mind you even the factor 10 suncreams gets you brown but it is troppo caro IMO.

Dh has been in short sleeves for weeks now he is really feeling the heat this year much more than other years. He is also sweating much more. Am having fun trying to get smeels out of his polo / t shirts .

Weird isn't it how you associate certain things with mornig sickness, DD had a favourite book that I couldn't read later on in my pg without feeling pukey.

I bleached when I had tache problems when pg with DD. For some reason it didn't happen 2nd time round.

I was eating a lentil soup when I discovered I was pg with my first one. It took me ages to eat lentils again....

Sputnik No 2 is due round 11 Nov but I have had 3 diff dates due to cycle length . Other dd is 2.3 at the mo. Hot is due in Sept I think .
WIth No1 I was out for a massive fish meal with all Dh family and I just diddn't fancy anything really strange but I wanted an ice lolly . I was suspicious then but not really late. Following Sunday I found the farmacia di turno and called dh back from work ( I thought it merited hem taking rest of teh day off !!)

I went off Ikea ginger biscuits,o many in consumed far too many in piena nausea, I still boak when I see them. Also their sour cream flavoured crisps, they gave me terrible heartburn as I went into labour (I naively thought they were the source of my "trapped wind", along with the chick pea curry I'd had).

Rosa, for the armpit smells, dab a bit of white vinegar on them before you put in the machine.

Thats it Dh off to Ikea next week Sour cream crisps...Pringles don't reach the button. Mum is coming next week with her home made ginger biscuits you can't beat em . I can make them here but hers are much better.
I diddn't have a cerotto with the first but the needle went in much lower and up into PLacenta . Due to position of baby it went in just below belly button this time - Ciccia and all and according to dh who wached via monitor and after ( when I was lying there thinking oh that was sooo jolly nice lets do it again doc !!!!!) there was a bit of blood. Its off now anyway and I smell nice.

Sounds nasty the bit of blood thing. Mine was under belly button too iirc. I remember being very full of wind and being amazed at not taking off like a deflated balloon when the needle went in.

The dill crisps were nice too but they seem to have stopped making those. The Pringles ones taste of puke, as do some dodgy brand DP got from Lidl (can you tell he's a Lidl fan?). I had to run away from the smell when he opened them.

re suncream... yes I did the nivea thing, the baby oil thing, the crema cacca thing (with which I got massive sunburnt in menorca), possibly the oil... god knows what else...

here is 24 degrees. yesterday went to a magnificient park where they've got the 100 Aker Wood with winnie the pooh house and all. dd2 loved it, only 15min from me.

dd2 had her tests yesterday (doctors were refusing it as thought she wasn't yellow - funny how tests showed otherwise . had to take about 10 vials of blood... results today and next week.

all my girls are in bed, they are abs brilliant (I am soon going to regret this moment of smugness methink). dd2 goes to bed at 8.30ish with dd1 and only wakes up to feed. hot do not panic it's not as bad as one imagines. when are you going to italy? are you going to be here the 7th of june? will have big BBQ/party for my birthday - kids invited too. you must come!! email me your address and I send you an invite!

Hey ho lovely day here dd has been out in skirt and ankle socks think we might have to go and get the Naturino sandals only ones we can find that have sort of closed in toes but are still a sandal . ( worried about stubbed toes on these so soft pavements) Her lelli Kelly bought for holiday are on the just size wise and they don't exactly let her feet breathe.Then will get trainers in the Uk when we get there not buying cheap plastic ones from here or spending a fortune for them to be trashed in the garden.

I'm here. Am supposed to be working too but have been agonising over the text of a delicate email to a client. Trying to be subtle and inoffensive but to the point in Italian. Normally I have no problem but I've written and rewritten it about 20 times and still it doesn't flow, plus the guy is permaloso so I don't want to give him any reason to go into a huff. Aaaargh!

I'd better eat something now, I have a conference call in about half an hour and it's bad form to chew whilst on the phone.

Lol! DD saw the Lelli Kelli ad for the first time today and shouted ancora when it was finished. Of course, DP thought he'd stick his oar in and kept saying guarda che belle whilst I made comments as to how horrible they were. I think DD was more impressed by the spangly nail varnish gift than the shoes. Did your DD get the nail varnish then?

Lucky you going to the beach. We're going to the lake later today and tomorrow, fresh air at last. This weather is glorious, I've been skiving off early most of the week to take DD to the park so I can catch some rays.
